In hell. Welcome!
Back in the office with a half of my face stiff and puffy. :twitch:
I am being fingerprinted by the Feds in the afternoon because I am committing the crime of having permanent residency in the US of A. My swollen face will give them a great picture to file.

Careful they don't deport you for having facial ZikEbolAids.

Mornin!

Got a talking to from my neighbor the other day. Turns out my dog has been literally ripping holes in the fence trying to get some of his dogs sweet in-heat tang. Anyone know of a good way to halt such behavior?

Thanks! I am a Bohemian, got my US residency in 2006. My GC is expiring this year and so is my bio-metric data. Uncle Sam asks $450 for a new set of fingerprints - seems a bit steep but what can you do.

Is your dog fixed yet?
Yep. I'm not sure if its his dog being in heat or he just gets bothered by the ability to see through the small cracks in the fence, but I must figure out a way to stop it. So far I've just been jamming 2x4s behind the fence to obstruct his visibility and praying he doesn't start digging.

Can you see the behavior?

Perhaps a few clicks of this would deter him?

If you just tell him to stop, in dog logic that means he isn't supposed to do that when you are there as dog rules are generally dominance based. They generally don't associate the ultrasonic sound with you and the dog associates the negative feedback with the activity.

'Morning. Slow drive into work today on account of 1" of snow perfectly timed for the morning commute. I mean, road conditions were just fine; it's other drivers that's the problem. I had my five shot Americano and SiriusXM, so I chilled.

Nope. He engages in such behavior when I am away at work. I have caught him a few times before while he was wearing his e-collar and gave him a couple of buzzes to try and set the message. Unfortunately he's a persistent son of a bitch and refuses to learn without consistent reinforcement.

Starting to feel reasonably healthy again, now eldest kid has croup and wife's complaining of an intensely sore throat.

Guess it'll be time for the youngest to contract something soon, then it'll be my turn again.

It was a good couple days while it lasted.

Same here, same here.

Sprinkling of snow here = double the commute time.

Time to poop, I think!

Chewing or scratching?

If it is chewing some strategic application of habenero extract or similar can help. Had a pup that was fond of chewing power cords. Instead of letting him get shocked I made some pepper mush and painted it on a few of his favorite cords. It worked.

I am proud to report that I am not sick.

Mariko is still recovering from pinkeye, however, baby Yuna is stuffy, and my visiting mother has some sort of cold. Germs recirculating forever, eh.

Riding the baggage carousel.

just under a 7 mile run this morning. Managed not to destroy a knee or twist an ankle, which seems like a minor miracle considering how many lazy fuckwits still haven't shoveled their sidewalks. Really wanted to run further, but I think I need to ease back into it, the 14 miler followed 48 hours later by the 9 miler into work was too much and kind of broke my will for a week. Else wise, household duties need tended to, dog needs a walk, and I guess I'll get around to upgrading to windows 10, if only to make the stupid message go away.

About to go sign a will with my wife. I'm scared what she has planned for me!
Her desire to kill you is likely overshadowed by not wanting to raise two small kids alone. The fear should be heeded once the kids are more independent.

Spoke too soon. Younger one managed to land on his face/new bulldozer and get a nice puncture wound to the cheek.
