Sitting in the barber shop waiting to get trimmed up.

Then a short trip to the city for car shit and then finally it'll be bike time.

Looking forward to tomorrow; we're riding a place built mostly on rock slabs and more rocks.

Up at 5:30, ripping dawn patrol ride before the bugs woke up, bong shed and probably wasting the day away at the beach.

I slept well but had a weird anxiety dream about being asked to stay to perform a procedure at a children's hospital on a day when I needed to get to the airport to fly to Japan. Hmm.

Time to ride soon after changing the baby.

This morning I am planning an overhead cooling system for a block of Gala apples, then picking another 5 gallon bucket of cots for the dehydrator. The dried cherry experiment turned out great so I may go hunting for another bucket of those.

This afternoon I plan on heading to some trails I haven't set tire on in 7 months. No one rides there so it will likely be overgrown. Should probably be on the SS for the weed eating capabilities of the single cog but mmm... NOPE, would rather ride more than 5 miles today.

Super sore shoulders after muscling the Megatrail around Dakota Ridge. I think I may have found out how much bike is too much bike for me and these trails.

You'll grow into the bike you ride, though I think you're on the right track with the Bronson, yeti etc genre.

I have no idea where I am
I love legal gay marriage, and so will my dented i9. :thumb:

Almost made it out for a ride, well not really. A couple called while I was midway through rebuilding my suspension and pulling the bb in an attempt to ferret out the dreaded creak. So by the time they left and the bike back together there wasn't much time to play in the woods.

Already ridden 5 days this week anyway. Tomorrow there will be corner roosting and some of that hipity-hopity stuff.

3 hour mtb ride and then hit the beach

@jonKranked I had a 99 Super V Raven. There was a lot of good things about that bike actually and mine was light as it was the top spec version. If it only had some better suspension bits.

Took the local bike shop owner on a tour of my favourite trails, at one of the semi-local spots. What a freaking blast we had. Though, I did take him through some stuff that ended up in him taking a tumble. To be fair, I did warn him ahead of time of the BIGASS roots. I apologized after his tumble and he said "what for?".

After not riding all week, I had so much energy today. I smashed the bike through everything. Suspension felt a little soft...

Tomorrow we ride again.

We invited a co-worker's family over for dinner. Somehow that got lost in translation and they left their kids at home. Just as well since we ended up talking until 10 pm. It's nice to have adult conversation instead of just talking about my 1 year old's nap schedule and the like.

Have you concluded that a back country pedal biking is a worthwhile past time? Can you share your ROI calculations?
Heh. I'd calculate a figure if I could quantify it.

I figure I'm not going to get less fat unless I get more active. I like getting out into the hills, even the foothills, and the trails here are pretty good from what I've seen. The wife seems ok with me disappearing for hours on end if I head out with a bike on the rack. My monthly income is pretty much all allocated to debt service and regular expenses but I have an unallocated bonus coming up.

Add that up and it looks like I will be getting back into dentist-biking.
