This is all over the major news outlets except FoxNews. As wildly inappropriate and clearly un-American as his statement is, it will mean nothing to those that support him. Trump was right that he could shoot someone on Fifth ave. and he wouldn't lose any votes.
For his hardcore supporters, yes. I do think there are a lot of moderate republicans that just won't be able to do it. Voting for a Clinton may be a bit of a stretch for them but I can see them going to Johnson. Any non-delusional Republican can see what a disaster he would be.
Johnson is basically a quirky, pro-weed, moderate republican. He would be worlds better than Trump.And if Johnson wins because 51% of the people just can't go either way...
I just know a lot of "conservatives" who claim Johnson out of spite with the idea Trump will win and they will be happy but not the blame.

I'm truly floored that anyone, even die hard Republicans, finds Trump's morally bankrupt and vulgar behavior remotely acceptable for a Presidential candidate.
Not saying it would be a challenge, just saying it would be gratifying. I am not a violet man and there are very few people I wish ill of in this world. The idea that one of those people might become the leader of what is currently the "free world" scares me into violent tendencies.
