I have no idea where I am
I went to the gym. I was prepared for a mid-week, mid-day excursion in Hollywood, expecting the usual assortment of clown suits, over the top hairdos, and bra busting implants. I was even prepared for finding myself on an elliptical machine next to Ron Pearlman. What almost made me fall off that machine was when Pauly Shore walked up to Ron, for a brief chat. I was struck by the absurdity of it all, and could barely contain my giggles.
Quest for Fire is still one of Pearlman's better roles.

Velociraptors or turkeys, you decide.

Bent over during this mornings hike and felt a warm liquid run down my leg. I thought that I was pissing my pants and losing control or having a stroke or something. Turns out that it was just my coffee ejecting itself out of my thermos. Phew.

Soon. Soon there will be dirt. Oh yes.

Nowhere Man!
I am going to Albany tomorrow. I was told not to bring my bike as there is to much snow on the trails. I am bringing it anyways. If it is going to be a suffer fest. It will be my suffer fest. Good pizza and a comfortable hotel room will be sufficient reward. I like the Pine Barrens almost always...

Nobody remembers Tequila Doug here, He showed me around and now every time I pass through i take the time to explore all the new trails there. I am never disappointed. Easy on an off the thruway, right by the mall.

Camper still a good deal overall despite the amputations and rebuilding necessary?
If you look at it from a purely financial perspective, I'm not sure the camper was ever a good idea. In reality, it was the only way I could convince the wife that a long road trip with the dogs would be a feasible idea. Taking that into account, it was the right decision.

I went into it well knowing that it would require an overhaul. I'd venture that 2/3rds of the used campers I've perused advertise some kind of water damage. In my case the extent was difficult to determine as it was mostly hidden under the floor and water tanks. The rebuild won't cost me a ton of money, its more labor getting it all back together and figuring out when to call it quits so scope creep doesn't have me rebuilding it from the ground up. I'm a bit over the top like that.

If you need a hand with any of it give me a shout.
