Are we witnessing the death of the Republican Party?

When Obama was elected the right spewed a lot of vitriol and hate against him. I guess you can say that many of us on the left are doing the same to Trump. However instead of misspelled signs and grade school level insults the trolling from the left has been quite original and fucking hilarious. I am proud.

Ural really climbing a slippery slope with these Russian puns. I did Nazi this thread taking this turn.

Soviet to see any real crack in the Republican party. They may argue in back rooms but will goose-step in line when it comes to voting. Their main goal being retaining power followed by serving their corporate constituents.

I think we Moscownt upon the fact that the republicans will fall in line behind cheeto jeebus and his effed up agenda to try to retain their power.

The traditional Republican leader will try to separate themselves from the president's crass and Volga behavior, but will support his policies as long as he rubber stamps their legislation.

I was actually discussing this with a buddy last night. They're used to legislating in one of two ways: obstructionism, and bills that have no chance in hell of passing to pay lop service to their home constituents. Now they are in a position where they could (theoretically) pass something, they're clueless.

The fact remains that Americans want government driven health care provisions...they would rather buys books and bandages than bombs and bullets. However, the special interests that that drive the Republican party want to profit from health care and fear not profiting from Obamacare...now that a section of elected Republican representatives have actually listened to their constituents many on the right do not know what to do. 45 and his empty stupid threats that he issued about them losing their jobs next election cycle are simply that. Empty and stupid.

I look forward to the revolution, and hope for lasting effects.

Perhaps some people were able to see that the republicans are primarily interested in just making sure their corporate constituents are profitable.

I don't like the term 45. I think I shall start using POSPOTUS.

It's not mutually exclusive.

$585 billion defense budget in 2016 vs $110 billion in Obama/ACA costs. Those are both big numbers, but one is clearly more biglyer.
FTFY...

The point is simply which investment gives those who provide the investment capital a better return? A truly strong nation is built upon a foundation of a strong and healthy populace...if taxpayers foot the investment bill, than who should benefit from said bill?

We are the stockholders in the 'murikan dream™...
