Fucking A :banana::banana::banana:

Ruth is out of surgery. She still has ten toes. Pathologist could not definitively rule out malignancy, that will require lab tests which will take a week but it was a low grade cartilage tumor and they got all of it. So pending lab results and a CT scan to ensure its not anywhere else I am a bit more relieved.

Wow, I still get shocked a little talking to co-workers.

Group email thread: What are we going to use to collect performance data?
Me to group: Zenoss is what I've been using for performance monitoring as I was told that's what we use in house.

DBA: Zenoss can't do performance monitoring.

Me to DBA: Well, when I asked what I should use, that is what I was told we use in house.

DBA to me: We don't need CPU utilization data, we need CPU performance data.

Ok, what you call "CPU performance" is actually called CPU utilization and it is monitored by Zenoss.

In a van.... down by the river
Just got back from lunch ride in time for 2:30 meeting.

Put in a bid on the house in Denmark I want to buy. It will be interesting to see what they say. A very similar house was just listed around the corner at the same price but in much better shape so hopefully that will help them accept.
Errr... you're doing it wrong. :D

I'm now heading to a 3:30 meeting. :(.

Listened to two coworkers yell over the cubicle walls about how to navigate a menu on screen. One of them was saying click A then B. The other said "I clicked A but can't see B." After they kept yelling over the walls about it, I walked over and looked at the screen of the one in need of help, and her mouse was hovering over B.

so the guy who has painted four or five of my brothers cars calls and says he is having problems with getting fender hood door alignment on the rabbit pickup putting it back together after it has been painted....brother asks him if he test fit it all since it was pretty much all new....silence on the other end....

Went to dentist for routine cleaning and checkup.

Decided to drive up to the Alchemist brewery in Stowe.

Driving was white ice with poor visibility and fools.

TPMS went off as I pulled into parking lot, went in, got beer, put it in car, discovered that tire was losing air rapidly.

Found a repair shop.

Everyone gone to lunch.

Jacked up car, removed wheel, put on kiddie wheel, nine degrees F, blowing a snotter, no gloves,.

Drove to Vermont Tire in South Burlington and waited for two or three hours while they discovered tire was blowing air out between bead and rim and remounted it.

Drove home, dropped off beer, took trash and recycling to town.

All this on two cups of coffee and a PB&J.

Came home and wolfed down food.

Went to my fishing spot. Not to fish but to check out the conditions. Somebody has set snag lines all along the shore. Piles of fish guts tails and heads. I called the DEC and showed them the piles. I am not a snitch. But wrong is wrong....

It is not snitching. I try to always have the local poaching hotline in my phone. A short or long fish here or there is one thing. Blatant disregard and wholesale poaching gets reported without a worry.

Fuck the poachers. I hope they get royally busted
My concern. They leave piles and the eagles feed their young the diatris. Producing a unsustainable population. The DEC guy showed me tail feathers from the eagle moms being attacked by coyotes while they harvest the diatris, Plus rats and coons scavenge and then they get out of control. Tick and Carp problems.

been up since 4 am but I have been smiling my ass off since mid day. We went out for dinner then everything caught up with Ruth. With the stress of wondering if her cancer had returned now gone post biopsy and tumor removal ( 99% sure benign) she just crashed out. Me I gust vented and blew of my stress with a long walk with the dogs and a hard hour of intervals on the ellptical. Now its my turn to pass out... See ya later: keep the rubber side down. and the beer on ice:banana:

The house we want has two rental units so we can generate cash flow thus making it a much better investment or well really making it an investment. We should be able to live rent free if we get it setup correctly.
