I have no idea where I am
Back from my cousins two day funeral service.

Apparently she was a huge part of the local medical community as an ER nurse. The chapel in the funeral home was packed and people were standing in the hall. At the grave side, there was a Fire Truck with the ladder up flying the Flag at half mast and a whole bunch of EMTs. The hospital helicopter did a slow fly over.

That was the second funeral in back to back weekends. I am tired.

A few weeks ago my right foot hurt randomly for a few days. For the past two days my left foot has been getting progressively more painful. It's right under where the SPD cleat is on my shoes that I use for bike commuting. These shoes are from 2001 or so. Perhaps it is time to retire 'em.

A sign of how much this foot is killing me is that I just bailed on a downhill shuttle day with Nick, stoney, and company.

I have chronic pain in my foot. Doctors and physios tell me it's because my calf muscles are chronically tight, and are pulling on the tendons and such in my foot. If I follow a strict regime of foam rolling (or deep tissue massage) and stretching, it goes away. but ain't nobody got time for that, I'll just deal with the pain.
