Cam Cole back? Hell Yeah!! He's a big lad. Wonder if he'll be aboard a wagon wheeler?

From what I've heard, the YT Mob will continue. They are product testing, and from what I gather there will be different sized wheels to try out as well.

In what can only be called thrilling news, there is confirmation that Aaron Gwin will ride a YT for the final year of his three year contract with the YT Mob, in a move that astonished and surprised approximately nobody.

Its a change, for better or worse who knows? But how many sports have juniors at the same events as the elite of the sport?

Junior cutoff has always been 18, with racing age defined as of Dec. 31 of the event calendar year.

Eh? I thought ACC wasn't allowed to race Open Womens at the World Champs one year because she wasn't old enough despite being over 18 and went on to smoke the Junior Womens field instead. Buuuut I could be tripping.

I think her Junior times would have placed her in 1st for Elite. If I remember right....

I was at Worlds in '95 and I remember ACC's little fit. She was sulking on the podium, and almost didn't attend the ceremony, IIRC. (There was also an h-ball retirement party there, which my friends and I "snuck" into and drank lots of beer and ate lots of pizza).

Gary - I don't think that's how USA Cycling handles ages. I think it's the age as of Dec. 31 of the current year. In other words, if you're 19 at any point in a calendar year, you're a senior. Can anyone confirm?

That's the same as I'm saying. Drink some beer and my words will make more sense. Not 'mercan beer tho.

It's a UCI rule so British cycling's ruling is the same as USA Cycling's, French Cycling... etc. etc.
