Front range trails, Colorado, so loose over rock, lots of switchbacks, summer time = most rides from my door are ~ 2,500 vert feet. I'm probably 190lbs geared up. I don't generally need to do nose manuals, because 27.5.
And I don't run SRAM brake pads, that might help. Truckerco pads grip...
I must be hording all the unicorns. There's a CC shock and an MRP Ribbon on my daughter's RFX. Also a DVO Diamond on my hardtail, and a Mezzer Pro on my enduro. Happy with the performance of all them (Mezzer>Diamond>Ribbon).

Not much saddle time yet, and I've already given up on the X2. Pretty sure it was valved for someone 50lbs heavier than me. Swapped it for a Super Deluxe with the proper LL tune, but haven't had dry trails to test it yet. But at least I get to dig.
Unless DT has changed their metal compounds lately (and judging my my neighbor's luck with them on his Smash, they haven't), they're not much better than Alex/ Transition/ Azonic. They ding real easy and straighten a few times before shitting the bed. IMO, Spank are somewhere between that and...
They're actually longer (in the low setting) than the Sentinel, so why bother selling a mullet Patrol? Why not just offer a 27.5" rear wheel option and a flip chip for that bike?
Guess the new Patrol goes off my list of bikes to replace my old Patrol.
