You bring up a good point...On days where I wanted to ride more down than up I could set the fox at 125 or 100 and ride at 80 for most normal days. I dont have that option with the marathon. hmmm...
I just posted this in that other steel ht thread but you might like the cotic soul

steel, kinda agressive stance, built for longer forks, but still comes in semi-larger sizes so all-day xcish rides aren't a killer on the legs/back.
i stumbled across this the other day:

Kinda expensive due to the exchange rate but I love the design. Id buy one if they were a tad cheaper.
not to be a dick but "I would switch 125 to 80 or 100 depending on which felt better"...yea...so seriously, assuming both were around 80 which is the better all-around fork? the cost difference is only about 30-40$ (fox high).
any ideas? This will be going on my new rm blizzard. I would switch 125 to 80 or 100 depending on which felt better...I personally like a precise tracking xc bike i.e. steeper h.a.

Im trying to find a decent steel hardtail and while I dream about riding a soulcraft/sycip/IF i am in college and thats just not gonna happen anytime soon (unless someone has a large one of these and wants to sell it to me hehe) i digress....
I stumble across soma fabrications...
no its really not about manners. i personally think being put on this thread is a compliment and it is in fact good manners to take a picture that is copyright PINKBIKE (not the owner of the bike) and put it in this thread, a thread that pays tribute to dreambikes.
i knew SOMEDAY some anal...
yea shes mine.
the 8" rules except my fork was already creaking before i put it on there and im a little worried about how long it will hold up. but there is a SERIOUS difference in power and i thought my 6" was pretty damn tough.
