Thanks for the info. I've heard Dunedin is cool so I will look into that more. Sounds like shipping is probably out, but I'll look into that site and see what I can figure out.
Also anyone have any info on the North Island when it comes to riding and climbing? Ever time I've looked into it...
I ride DH mostly. Chairlifts and shuttling is great but I'm fine with hike a bike stuff too. What month is good to get there and get a job? I'm planning on getting my work visa and if I can extent my trip into 3+ months great. Also I had a friend suggest bringing two bikes and just selling...
I'm going to New Zealand next winter. I want to make one place my home base, was thinking Queenstown. Any other suggestions? I want to ride and go bouldering. Also I'm planning on going to Thailand first, which makes flying my bike not a good option because I don't want to drag the thing all...
Where can you get mineral oil for cheap? I heard some BMWs use it so it can be found at automotive shops. Its probably not cheap but once for once its got to be a better deal.
Also I have 2007 or so Saints and was wondering if anyone has bleeding tips to get both brakes feeling the same...
It makes the most noise in first thru third. Its set up right. I think the plastic is just too hard. I've had other guides on different bikes and they make same noise but this one just seems to rattle more.
I have a 2012 Wilson with an MRP G2 on it, it works fine but seems pretty noisy to me. What guides work quitely and functionaly with the Wilson?
Thanks
I always think its funny how people say "I haven't serviced my shock or fork in X amount of time and its fine." Thats on par with saying "I've gained 20 lbs over 2 years and don't notice any difference." Maintain your suspension and you will notice a difference.
If you have an indoor climbing gym around try that. Its more fun than weight lifting, if your bouldering its anarobic and it builds great grip strength
I've been thinking about doing this for several years and if I do it I will need to soon, only a couple years left in my twenties. How essential is a car? Is it going to make someones trip way better or just a little? I was planning on going for an entire year if I go and doing both islands...
Curious how other guys are setting up there suspension on the Wilson. I'm 175-180 lb, average rider, have an RC4 with a 275 lb spring. The bike feels really good at speed, but sluggish if things slow down at all.
Thanks for the info
I saw a couple guys running the e*thirteens and the pins looked scary long. But they said with pins like that and 5.10's your not going to slip a pedal, which makes sense. The pedal is not ultra thin though if thats what your looking for.
I just bought a Wilson a couple months ago, lifetime warrenty. Hopefully I can brake it and get a carbon in a couple years. Anyone know what the deal is with Canadian companies and making there bikes in Canada and how they are getting around this with carbon?
