My friend rides for them and probably close to 40% of them end up bulging out in one spot...it's weird..kinda like the inner casing tears and allows the tire to swell up in one area...
He says the baron project one is good though but I still dont think he races on them because he doesn't trust...
For sure...the exo tires released post DD have definitely been lighter...couldnt believe how flimsy the 2.5 DHF "WT" was compared to my usual 2.4 Hr2 60a in exo.....pretty hard to beat a 2.4 hr2/slaughter combo for me...the SS was good but I think it feels more like a normal tire on the descents...
Anybody have any time on the 2016 fit4 damper? Is it the damping the same aside from the lack of high speed adjustment since you have low speed adjustment in the open setting?? I just sold my lyrik dpa to get 36 talas and of course now the only 36 talas rc2's I can find are full retail being...
No need for dh tires...
2.4 Hr2 in exo up front and a grid slaughter in the rear....riding the same trails he does and I rarely flat...
Some of the newer exo tires seem lighter than the old ones...stick with the 2.4 Hr2's or dhf 2.3's..work great...if you want to ride the good trails around...

Doing some rock crawling on the megatrail....much steeper than it looks!
