So you have the 68/73 bb shell width and you are looking to trade for the 83mm?
I have an older 83mm saint crankset sitting around... it's pretty well-used, 22/36 with an orange e-13 bash, 175 arms. Would trade or sell cheap if you want it.
Thats true, and you made some good points below KT...
The thing is, in the case of 2hi, there's really nothing that needs to be scoped out. It's an intermediate trail with ride-arounds for everything that's not roll-able.
Would walk-ups be a good for DWB, HLC & Dirt corps lines? Maybe a good...
There is something like 140' of total vert at Duthie Hill. Maybe a "bike with a single 40tooth front ring at 45lbs" isn't the ideal rig? You will not hear any of the builders complain about riding a SS hardtail down these trails, or pushing a big heavy bike back up, if thats their choice. Ride...
Sweet. HLC reprezent! by the way, I consider Jeepmauler to be OG- HLC. Great to have him back.
OK... now I am calling BS on the uphill hiking path idea.
Is it OK for people to stop and gawk on Dirt Merchant or Freight Train? Or push their bikes back up the trail to hit a feature after...
Making changes (not maintenance) to a trail you didn't build is not really cool. Sorry to say that. It's great your buddy can flip it now, but what if somebody else has a bad crash because they weren't aware the line has changed?!
Literally hundreds of people worked on some of the C-nade lines...
I was up there friday as well. I would encourage anybody thinking about riding it to wait just another week or so. Mainly because the meadows sections are very WET... like not rideable unless you ride off trail... doing so is going to going to trash those meadow areas big time. There are also...
It is pretty weird to see people riding such big bikes there.
Nothing wrong with it, "ride what you brought", right? I'm not hatin' on that!:thumb:
Just maybe consider that ~everything~ there has been hit smoothly on hardtails or light all-mountain bikes. Riding a lighter bike means you can...
Hey.... Don't normally post here but dug up my log-in just for this thread....
Yeah a bunch of us have been working on a new trail out there, building a line that Brian Crowley and I flagged. This is another legal project approved by snohomish county. Really it's a re-route of an existing trail...
The newer tables there are on "line #2" (there are upper and lower options). Those are pretty much ready, once Joel finishes building the approach there will be enough speed to hit them proper. Soon we will be building a step-up ladder to teeter-drop on the lower line. Shoot me your email...
This is such awesome news... Cindy's personal responses are really appreciated.
I know a lot of people who have emailed to voice their enthusiasm, but I can also tell you that for each one of those emails there are twenty more people who will be riding at Stevens every chance they get...
Eaxactly! LOL. This post was a horrible idea to start out with. To those of you who have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, I am truly sorry. bad idea.
Otherwise..... just tell me when to meet you there and I'll show up with a shovel, case of beer, etc.... After that I will feel...
Well, maybe you can hook us up? It's no big deal, I just want to offer them some help if they'd like it. I'm thinking especially this fall/winter, I'd be glad to spend some time digging, show my appreciation and make it even better.
:thumb:
Otherwise I'd be stoked to do :20 everytime I...
