I hope that its all done because the event that they were building everything for is already over. The 2013 Alpine ski World Championships happened this past winter.
Hopefully they want to have some more bike races back there sometime soon.
I rode my frame in the stock Low/Steep setting since I got it about a year ago. This spring I felt like a change so I popped the cups out. They came out no problem. When putting them back in just make sure that you are very careful that you are lining up the keyed sections properly.
Osprey Zealot, hands down. I love most of their packs but the features on that particular model are perfect for the gravity crowd. I dont often use a pack when riding resort or shuttle stuff but when I do I can hardly even notice that it is there. I cannot say the same for CamelBak products...
I predict that only two mens racers will get to sit in the hot seat all day. Richie will take it over at the start and then stay there until Gwin gets down.
I have a pretty similar stack of tires as Dennis and Damo and I just gave away 10+ tires to the local College Cycling Team. I have been thinking about building something like what Damo has pictured on the top of the back wall. But I also want to be able to hang bikes vertically underneath it...
.008 holy crap do you realize how close that is? I am a little bit suprised that they are even timing to the thousandth of a second. That is pretty much a tie in my book.
Pajarito and Angel Fire are tons of fun for sure. Telluride should also be just about 8 hours and their gondola is free and the bike park is open until dark.
What is the story with Nick Beer this year? He seems to be a good value. Is he going to all of the races? Who is he riding for? A little while back I think that I heard he will be on a Devinci. Can anyone confirm this?
You have to look at your audience then. There are probably 1000 other things that would get kids more amped on bike racing than a $25 check for 3rd place. The same thing for the 40+ sport class. Just give them quality and they will show up. If you want to pay amatures then offer money for...
In my opinion money does not motivate 13 year olds. Things like tires, helmets, and swag motivate 13 year olds. It could be very possible that prize money would actually corrupt some of the things that they enjoy about the sport. Is that not the reason that many people like college sports more...
You are looking at it the wrong way. It is a DH bike that eliminates the need for shuttles or a chairlift. As with anything electric the weight of the battery and the battery life will determine how succesfull it is. It is a very small niche in an already small niche market but it is a really...
