Hey guys, the Tuckfest is going on at the White Water Center in Charlotte April 25-27th. They are having a super G type race down the old slalom course. I rode it on Wednesday and it brought back a lot of memories! It was perfectly groomed and back to its old glory. The berms are big and each...
This race was great!!!!! The turnout was awesome, and probably more than expected. I think open men had about 80 riders! Beginner was around 30 or 40? The course was pretty darn fun. Not too tech but challenging to go as fast as you could and try to gain milliseconds where you could. The crowd...
The race keeps changing. Now it is not a dual race. Now it is a downhill race. Two timed runs to the bottom. Best time scored.
They also added a short track race. Entry fee includes both races.
I'm assuming it's just down. I can't see them draining the whole lower pond that would connect the two routes. I think if they use the sides as berms and incorporate the drops and rock features, it should be fun.

I do not understand your love affair with Matt B's love affair? Sometimes your best friends are also your biggest fans. :thumb::headbang:
I didnt take fat kids into consideration.
You could do one in conjuction with the White Water Center race of the Southern Series? I always thought it would be fun to race from the bottom of goat hill up the fire road, and then down the old DH course. Would probably be a 2+ min race.
It’s not about making the customers aware of it at the shop through a flyer but more about letting the employees know about it. They are the ones selling the bikes and talking up places to ride in the area. And trust me, we get a lot of questions about riding in the mountains at our shop...
Sending flyers to all the bike shops in the surrounding states sure would have helped. Im sure they could obtain a list with addresses fairly easy. That should have been done more than a few months ago.
