what size did you get? can't decide between L and XL, cause according to scott, both fit me. currently riding previous gen ganmbler and L is on the small size
Does Cura4 have the same bleed fittings as older Formula brakes?
Need to source a cheap bleed kit for them.
Also what about mineral oil - do I really need Formula stuff? It is hard to source in my area and I have used other manufacturer oil for my Shimano brakes. Obviously don't mix'n'match but...
I am lost between all those ZS,EC,IS combinations,
but
if I understand correctly, then I need zero stack lower cup with 1.5 bearing and race, all though I don't know which headtube size Gambler has 49/55 or something completely different
using a thread already at top -
what kind of a headset I need to find to fit tapered fork to Scott Gambler '16 ? For now I have 1 1/8 steerer fork.
Any tapered zero stack will do the job?
Haven't bought a headset for a long time, now can't catch up with standarts.
I've watched all of Earthed series movies now.
I really miss these kind of movies about racing, with comments etc, but I guess team edits "supposedly" replaced them. Although just few of them are really worth watching
Does anyone know,is it possible to swap stanchion tube from '11 Marzocchi 888 to 380,both are listed as 38mm.
Length, threads, groves for snap rings etc. are the same?
UPDATE:
This doesn't work, apparently 380 have different tube lenght
Very interesting race, liked the jump section-showed that going full gas isn't always the best.
Also it is hard to tell with Maes - is he joking or being serious, but nevertheless iconic(?) win for him,and the spirit of enduro as he said.
on the side note, watched this, cleared up some off the...
Rewatched GAMBLE.
Definitely better than deathgrip.
Peatys section was crazy, old dog still has skillz,so does GM and Finn was on fire,
BUT
Atwill and Boney M was pure gold
Yeah,I was just curious, because there would be a constant drops of oil under the rubber boot thing, that covers the hose entering the lever.
Anyway, new levers for new season is must!
Thanks for information and new ZEE lever it is then.
Although maybe I have discovered something that fixes the "spongy first pull" lever issue - I put a small brass washer between the lever cap(3) and seperator(4) unit (http://si.shimano.com/pdfs/ev/EV-BL-M640-3431.pdf), then purged the system...
Yes,I would like to do that exactly.
Had no problems with leaking calipers as everyone keeps mentioning.
Disassembled/assembled lever couple times, still can't figure out where the air is getting sucked in.
With my adjusted reach first pull goes nearly to the bar, second is what I have ordered...
