    You should hook up with Justin at Bike Tech in Olympia. He does a group shuttle ride on Sundays. They usually meet at the shop around 9.

    amen to the sling versus wheel chair. I had a core savor and bought a leatt, now I need a new core savor since the old one doesnt play nice. I figured being a single dad that i could recover from most injuries excpet the spine type.

    cap forest is about a half hour south of the base. there is a mixture of all mountain, cross country, and some downhill ish stuff. there is one big hill in the middle of fort lewis, not to hard to find and it used to have some freeride stuff on it. i will see if i can find out more about that...
