It does feel different. If anything it feels more linear than the spring, I know it's strange to say. it seems to blow through the travel faster than than with the metal spring. So I bumped up a couple of clicks of compression. I did use the full travel of the fork, but I didn't feel any...
I just set this up. Ran it last weekend. The setup passed my test performance wise. We'll see how it goes the rest of the season. I'm sort of a weight weenie and this setup is the lightest Boxxer setup. I had a friend who didn't want his air cart anymore because he wanted a spring. So...
Well they got our computers at work pretty locked down. I was using Firefox Portable with the Adblocker. But I suspect the ads still come through the network but are filtered out by Firefox. Oh well.
I've never been to Vertical Earth.
Plan on doing the SuperD this weekend. Can someone describe the course, I'm trying to figure out what bike to bring and how to set it up.
Right now I'm planning on bringing my Yeti 575 decked out with DH wheels, DH Tires and short DH Stem.
How...
Alright picked up a cheap hitch rack (Xport Flatbed for $100) for my car, so our crew should be all set with shuttle. 2 on the roof and 2 in the back, and my car is a Turbo charged Subaru Outback so it should have no difficulty pulling up the shuttle road. See you all out there Saturday morning.
We've got a few guys coming that weekend. Right now I'm not sure what we're doing for a shuttle, but worst case I'm buying a hitch rack for my car, in addition to the roof rack I already have. Hope someone is there who knows all the trails, because I only get there like once a year and I...
Sorry can't help you out. Although nobody said so, I think this got me in big trouble. I already got moved to a less private desk (I suspect to keep closer eye on me).
It sucks. I just went to RM because someone sent me a PM about a condo I rent out at Snowshoe.
Well here is an interesting one. It got me in trouble at work. I browsed RM today from work which I usually don't do. Well within an hour of me going to the site, the security people at my work came to me asking if I was going to the site called "ridemonkey", and they wanted to scan my PC...
I've got a group coming down that weekend. Some of us are staying in Pigeon Forge, but not sure about the others, we don't have the final number yet. I'll send them your way though if any need a place to camp.
I got the part numbers:
11.4015.385.000 BoXXer WC SoloAir spring kit
11.4015.383.000 BoXXer WC Air top cap
and I've already done that. BTI is out of stock, and QBP only has one air sping, and no top caps.
So I was looking for some place that could deal directly with SRAM.
P.S. Loo...
How do I find out what these shops are? Because I've called a couple of local LBS's that are listed on SRAM's site as being "Authorized Dealers" and both said they can't order parts straight from SRAM.
I want to order the parts for the air conversion, and so far no luck.
