Well I suppose time will tell for which scheduling works better. Personally next year I hope its spaced out a little more, I want to try my hand at racing and working part time at a shop just won't allow for weekly races.
I've got to ask, why are the races every weekend this year rather than being spread out as in the past?
Personally, if I was racing I'd have a hard time finding money to go back every weekend back-to-back. (I'd be racing if I had a 4x bike)
Gregg's doesn't rent anything anymore.
I think I was working when you called, bikegrrl. I remember a coworker telling me about how someone just called about renting bike cases.
Best of luck to ya getting your junk up there!
I work at a shop, ride an SX Trail, and ride the SX chunders, I'd be more then happy to pull the tires off and provide a second opinion...after all, I'm a rock skip away from you and ride my bike in Seattle every week.

Blah that Jeepers guy...he's getting to me. Considering I'm also on the Jeep/4x4 side of the "illegal" trails track, he's wrong when he says 99.99% of ORV users use it properly and LEGALLY. In fact, I'd say only 75% AT BEST wheel legally all the time. I can't believe he's trying to say...
I took a year break from bikes...but since I work at a bike shop, it was only a matter of time till I got a bike again. So yes, I'm back. :thumb:

Fair enough. FYI I have only been to Galby once...but my bike needs to see more woods.:thumb:
If you find anyone else who knows the trails and wants to ride, I can dig it.

EDIT: Blah...never mind, I just remembered I told a chick I'd hang out with her Sunday. Bummer too, would have...
The guy who bought them shouldn't complain a month later for getting the wrong tires, it's not your business what tire they are anymore and you did everything you could to provide accurate info.

Someone will have to remind me to donate money after I buy the motorcycle I've been eyeing, this project looks sick and I'd love to help keep it moving, good job guys!
And thank you all!

Nice work guys! I love the line you guys built!

P.S. Thanks for partnering with Gregg's! (I work at the Alderwood location) Because of you, we're finally getting more FR/DH oriented stuff in the shop after much begging on my part.
I disagree with this. When you're riding a bike with a single 40tooth front ring at 45lbs, it's a rare occasion to pedal UP hill AFTER spending your energy to jump. Granted, that's no longer the type of bike I'm riding...but my point is many of the people who will be riding the lines in question...
Good way to go for sure. Any line/trail that has a significant amount of jumps/drops SHOULD have some sort of trail to hike up/down along side it IMO. I mean the general rule of thumb for jumps is to always check things out before you hit them, and who realistically is going to want to ride down...
If I come by Sunday, are there good odds I'll get to hit this thing? :thumb:
It looks pretty sick from what I saw Thursday. It appears a little bigger than anything I've done on the SXT so far...but there's a first for everything.

FWIW, I have an '09 I picked up a couple months ago (twas the last one in their warehouses) and the stock 160mm seems to be the sweet spot.
Any higher and I imagine the head angle would be WAY to raked to handle any real pedaling. As is I find climbing very awkward (not like I bought the bike...
Finally made it out today! You guys all have done some great work, thanks! Had a blast on the SXT and FINALLY got to open things up a bit.
