You can flip the cables so it shifts the oposite way if you prefer. I run it oposite to most would, back for fast, forward for slow.
Told you so on everything else ;-) and it's not even second nature to you yet. Try shifting in the air next.
Look forward to getting a ride on one of your bikes.
If you please stop bullying and charactuer assassination of me. That'd be great.
Agreed, not sure why you'd copy a frame like that. Doesn't take advantage of anything. But fcuk he did a nice job on the tubes etc.
His reply to me asking what was the gearbox hub, was check out my updated ad(no mention of gearbox). Whoa, he's on or off the meds again. This is his updated ad.
I HAVE BEEN ASKED SO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BIKE THAT I HAVE HAD THE BIKE ASSESSED BY A BIKE SPECIALISED AND HAVE MODIFIED MY...
Two dampers for the rear also. Predating current shock tech for high and low speed?
Dampers for floaters? One for brake squat, one for jack? Why? Did they run two? Is there a Rohloff, Alfine or other as a gearbox? Can't see any batteries anywhere so guesing gearbox.
I didn't word that the best. There's more anti squat if used with a granny on lots of designs and plusher in larger gears. So with 1 x you loose these advantages.
If designed around 32t, anyone wanting a smaller ring is probably more of a climber and happy with possibly more anti squat and vica...
You still need to pause from pedalling for a millisecond to allow it to shift. so by shifting when you do that it changes quicker. Guessing this lessens cable stretch too.
It comes standard with largish size sprockets(by Pinion standard). By running smaller ones you could increase anti squat if...
Guessing it's probably from being able to shift easily while climbing. You do have to soft pedal like with a mech, but you don't need to accelerate as much to do so, and the shifts are much quicker and easier, especially when shifting multiple gears. The multi gear shifting is probably it. I'm...
I'd have liked to have seen the high pivot one make it to production too. I think noise was the main reason for abandoning it. I don't think the chain was coming off, and that'd be fixable so it didn't happen. Idler would've been less efficient. I think the best balance of compromises was aimed...
Yeah I have one. Can't say I notice any drag. I do notice being in a more efficient gear more often though. and ride up more stuff than fitter riding buddies do. Mine's an 18 speed though, although I rarely use the extreme gears and the 12 still has a massive range. 12 will be much better, as my...
Yeah Pinion came out pretty sorted. Effigear not as much, but I think they've made lots of upgrades since. Pinion is ideal if it suits your needs. I would still get an Effigear if it suited though. Higher output, good for AM/Funduro, or small light two axles box for hard tail or complex sue design.
Isn't tyre pressure relative to body weight to some extent? I'm light and find wider helps. I can't run as low as you with normal rims as there's too much squirm and inconsistent feel below 23pSI max.
Have you thought of a 35mm Carbon front? That's what I'm running. Just put one on the back too...
