Trek actually makes a 23 inch in the fuel ex 8. May not be as sexy as some of the others but may be first mtn bike that fits you. Get in touch with nic and maybe eric or I can get you a ride on one of our team guys bike to see if fit is right for you.
Double door is closed right now trying to reopen in different hood. Best museum in the city is Oriental Art institute at University of Chicago. All Persian and pre Roman middle east stuff. Super cool and empty usually. Plus that campus and the old Worlds fair grounds in that area are rad...

Keystone on weekends either during the week. Will not deal with lines and so few riders at keystone compared to WP during the weekend. M_F either does not matter in terms of number of riders. I like natural old school dh so its almost all ways keystone for me.

Squeeb you should check out engineer or jones Dutch Pinkerton or colorado trail above hermosa. Hermosa is not bad but several rides right in that drainage that are just so much better unless you are riding with a bunch of non riders then hermosa all the way.
I ended up going down. Was super fun trails where very wet. Torrential down pour saturday afternoon and snow later that night. Was crazy sunday and was no where near dry but still awesome couple days on the bike.
