    I want a new frame.

sx trail, my buddy has one, depending on the application it could be considered alittle heavy, depending on the build, but weight is a subjective thing. he uses it for trail riding, super-d as well as some of the smoother DH courses. I've only ridden it briefly and was impressed (I've never...

    Go-Ride issues...

It's sad to hear people getting all over Go-ride, as a local I'm lucky enough to be able to walk in to the shop everyday if my bank account allows it, even when I went back to NY and needed parts when I got back they were ready when I walked in the door. Scott, Kris, Von, Joss and C.J. do an...

    Buying a pressure suit.

The blue has less padding, around the biceps and triceps, maybe over the shoulderblades too. I would suggest dianese but since money is an option, I'm really not quite sure what to suggest. I've worn the SP-1 for three seasons and will be moving up to the dianese this season. The pressure suit...

    Recovery time from ACL surgery?

I tore my ACL in October of 06, after having the doc diagnose the injury I opted to work for 4 additional months, I rode my bike every day anywhere from 10 to 30 miles daily. This was with the doctors approval. Initally, my leg got really strong. By the end of the third month my leg from all the...

Joe, Thanks for the response. Although the Big Hit as stated was the best deal. I've decided to go with Morewood. Neil from Morewood emailed me today. In this day and age we respond to emails with as little response as possible. Neil's response was 5 paragraphs broken down into the pros and the...

I really need some help here with a purchase. I will be buying a DH frame in the next 3 weeks. I can get a deal on a Big Hit III frame at 800.00, morewood izimu, at 1840.00 or cove peeler at 2000.00. The allure of the Big Hit is price and durability and the fact that I rode one race on my...

    Guy killed at DV...

My condolences to his family and friends. We as riders understand the risks involved in our sport, mountain biking in general, for those of us who choose to push faster, higher, and steeper the possibility of injury obviously increases regardless of how good the rider is. Accidents happen, to...

Super-man did the doc give you that info, is it a stage 1, 2, or 3 that will have a huge bearing on your recovery and the possibility of re-injury, I had a stage two that held together for 3 months and then I was walking to class and POP no more ACL. What other injuries did you have, damage to...
