I can honestly say that I am the first one to go down Preston (Tiger Mt) this posted season. Got there @ 7am. My P3 sucks on the climbs, but the downs were fun.
I want to bet there around 3:30, cuz I have a Galbraith ride (my first) starting at 4:30. If I don't get a chance, then I ma stick around and jump thursday starting around 2 or 3.
One other thing, the far left line was a little weird. The first one I could easily overshoot, but it was tough to clear the second. Maybe the first one could be built up to provide more flow and pump through the set. I think maybe just shaving away the mud and ruts might do it, but maybe the...
Was out there today, all alone. Jumps were in need of work, but not too bad. Mud needs to be shaved away, some of the lips could use some shaving. Overrall cleanup is all they really need. I mainly did the line all the way to the left, next to the big line. The ruts and mud were scrubbing...
Did the work party at the DJ's happen? I couldn't make it but I stay in B-Ham every wednesday night for work, so I was gonna bring my bike this week if they were worked on. Excited to hit them up, nice lines there. Anyone wanna ride wednesday night(s)?
My first appearence will probably be the Gathering. Also, for those who don't know I am re-married and have a 4 month old daughter, Addison Jean. I'll be posting pictures of the new bike and daughter very soon.
You may even even catch me back in the scene in '05. In fact, you can bet on it. See you all at the jumps. Look forward to a little more trail riding as well, since I'll only have hardtail.
Dude, you're #'s are a little scewed for a 20in. Especially for someone who is under 5'6". My dirtjumper has a 21" TT (generally OK for someone 6'2" like myself who dirtjumps) and that wheelbase is only 37 1/8.
My Pro XL race bike is plenty long for me and is only 38 something. 39 is a...
I'd say comparable. I have heard that the only thing that separates them is that Profile has superior bearings, but I don't know. The X'Drives are a great value and I had a pair with no problems at all.
yeah, sorry about the rotor thing. i too was around BMX at that time and even though I never had a rotor, I have since always called gyros rotors. Thanks for the tips, I am in the seatac area. i always DJ at south seatac (softees?) so maybe you could come out sometime and show me whats up.
I need some new pads and I want the best. What will stop me the best? I am running 990's w/o a rotor for your information.
Also, PNJ, do you make house calls to set up 990's for people?;)
around 30 is good. most street and dirt bikes run upwards of 35. a full on race bike can be around 25. a nice chromoly race/dirt frame will be complete around 30.
terrorists have rights too, ya know. Who are we to stop supporting the ways they make money? We can't just let them starve to death. Sheesh. I support with my 99 Expedition. 13-15MPG, lots of stop and go.
Come on now. First off, I prescribe to you a big fatty cuz you uptight. next, I care what those hippies are doing. I am that everyday guy with a 26K SUV and my channels, DVD players, CD"s, computers, all that. I am a successful real estate agent, and I smoke on occassion so I don't turn into...
i read that. They work alright. I really don't care too much. I was more concerned with the double/triple issue. I was confused, still am. Either way, it was a free wheel, minus an axle.
