haha, awesome. I can't necessarily bash people for sessioning step-ups all day, but I CAN'T FVCKING STAND video segments of riders walking up hills and time-lapse sky shots. I mean, really, are clouds moving in fast forward THAT interesting? While girl pants are debatable, filler shots in videos...
Did he have a weapon or something? Or did he just not come back from a "test ride"? (I'm super tuned in to bike thefts these days 'cause my 20 just got jacked a few days ago...)
You know they do make half link chains in standard 3/32" sizes, i.e. not fat BMX style. May be easier and cheaper to do that than track down a chainring with that criteria to fit your chain.

I can't believe I see all these clips of Garrett shredding at UMBC and I can never catch it in person! The stair gap/rail hop to bank at 3:13 is freaking rad. I always wondered if someone could do/has done that whenever I walk by there
Is everyone just missing how cool that moto front flip was?? Sure, it may not be a true 360 flip, but STILL, he's front flipping a MX bike! Who cares if it looks a little funky, that bike weighs like 230 lbs! I think it pulls it off rather smooth considering that.
And his bike wasn't set up...
The SX Trail is a VERY versatile and capable aggressive bike. Had one for years and enjoyed every minute of ride time on it. It's very confidence inspiring on big jumps, and it's very flickable for a rather long travel bike.
The SX is just a blast in general. It kills jumps and drops, and...
The 24" wheel bike will have a taller gear with the same 25/9 ratio. Larger wheels=more gear inches or more meters of development.
Basically, the bigger your damn wheel is, the harder your damn legs will have to work to push the same damn ratio.
Sick riding Joel. That Faction looks way bigger in the video than it does in pictures, even without it being side by side with a 20.
(I'd prob get a different filmer next time though! That guy seemed to be more interested in those damn sunglasses than your riding haha. Need to see more of dat...
You've heard correctly: Odyssey tires are the ****. The Paths will last longer for street riding, but the Aitkens aren't bad considering they're mostly a dirt tire. I know two guys that ride HARD on some of the 2.25 Aitkens, grinds and all, and they swear by them. If you're worried about going...
What cranks come stock on your Faction?
The big determining factor is the diameter of the spindle on your current crank. The Twombolts use a 22mm spindle, so if your current crank has a 22mm spindle as well, then you're good to go. If not, you'll have to buy a new BB.
However, I've always been...
Well, I'm not Matt or Chris, but I do live right outside of Baltimore. I used to ride w/ a Matt at DeChamp's trails that talked about 7 courts, but of course the odds of him being the one you're looking for are slim. I've heard some things about that place but never been there. How is it?
Hard to beat Fox quality, but their options for DJ are really slim. The 831 is their first dj/aggro fork that's not a 36, but the price on that thing is steep. I've read A LOT of great reviews on it though. It uses the 15mm thru axle, so you will have to get a new front wheel or hub if the one...
Yeah, a BMX hub definitely wouldn't fit in your frame. However, most BMX hubs have a flange to flange measurement comparable to or larger than most mtb hubs, since they don't have disc mounts or a freehub body. Not sure about how they compare to an SS mtb hub though.
Do you run disc brakes...
Good: EP,EP, EP, and EP! The atmosphere of a tight knit shop, the shop dog, hot cycling chicks that want a bike fit(rare one there!), seeing wheels you've built that are still true and strong years later, TIRE BALL, the people who always request you to service their stuff, solving an issue that...
I knew some guys who ran a set-up like that for a while. The smaller rear wheel gives you a slacker head tube angle, so it feels more stable and tends to do better with dirt jumps. Berrelcloth used to run his P bike like that, but, as sittingduck said, it's an older trend that is rarely seen...
Well, that's because it IS a sweet ride, regardless of how old you are. It's not the most trendy frame out there, but it'll get 'er done just fine. 'Course half the kids on PinkBike would hate on it anyway since it isn't brakeless, doesn't have compact gearing, and doesn't have 30" wide low rise...
Great, another stupid gnar-tard downhiller, one who spends wayyyyyyyyyy too much time posting on RM.
4X/DS are amazing disciplines! You don't have own a $3000+ bike to ride them, and you learn different skills that cross over well to DH. The only downside is that courses are expensive to...
Can't believe they will be gone for that long! And f@cking Ty is crazy! The last time I was in NY was right when Dah Shop was opening. My buds and I were riding through that area when some tall black guy was running after us and yelling. I thought we were gonna get our asses kicked. To our...
