Reddish knob doesn't require a long-travel bike at all. Most of the riding done up there is by guys on cross country bikes. The trails are super fast and super fun on pretty much any decent bike.
That was a really fun ride. The condtions weren't all that bad for January. It was good to ride on some dry ground.
Goshen has some gnarly trails to explore- one trail today was a creek bed with trail makers on the side.

Some of the scenes were shot near here, at a local farm.
For the scenes they shot, they needed massive numbers of extras. I wasn't an extra myself, but lots of my friends got to hang around with Tom Cruise for a few days.

The tooth fairy rings were bought by Salsa. I believe they still make a ring similar to the one you broke.

I was under the impression that all VTs were air. With the introduction of the swinger shock, giant felt they could lower the weight and not lose any preformance, if any at all.
