just measured the bearing in the freehub, looks like 15 ID and 28 OD but i cant get an accurate depth - its 6-8mm
sorry, thats as good as i can help without disassembling new product
edit: i just realized you have the 150 hub. this was measured off a QR freehub, so this info may not apply...

DT swiss makes the ex471 in 650b. but they are 28h
ZHendo - id build you a wheelset if you want (and if you trust me enough; im working at a shop in corvallis, or these days)
Moved to portland for a summer internship and I discovered possibly what everyone else already knew - Portland absolutely blows for mountain biking. There is no decent legal trails closer than a 45 min drive from where I am. Oakland has a far better trail system.
...or maybe i just dont know...
yes, i have seen powder coat peel off with tubeless tape. Ive noticed it when there is an excess of sealant under the tape - which is also apparently causing the tire to loose pressure and not re-seal. ive seen this on stans rims, and many specialized/dt rims.
ran into a girl last year who got turned on by the fact that i rode bikes. she assumed i was a spandex road warrior, then i showed her a DH edit, and she got wet. they are out there, but they are like unicorns.
That bleed block is plastic, and more compressible than pad backing, material, and a rotor.
I have experienced a drastically different feel between the bleed block and the installed pads and rotor. That being said, some experience and A/B'ing will allow you to feel a successful bleed even...
to me, low residue after some time shows a weaker sealant. The fact that a sealant has left behind a residue is evidence that it is layering, and clinging to the inside of the tire, which is what we want.
meh. maybe. mix a little mechanics, materials science, and math and you will see that a hollow tube can actually be designed to be stiffer than solid.
also, if that link is free to pivot, (ideally) all stresses on the shock would be normal. sounds like a lazy owner that doesnt maintain their...
i just use a 20" presta bmx tube, ~1.375-1.75 inch. aka ghetto tubeless:
-stretch it over your rim
-use scissors to cut it open, cutting only one layer, along the centerline of the rim ( i like to wipe off the talc)
-fold the ex-tube-now-a-strip-of-rubber thing open, so the two cut edges...
More technical details from more frame manufacturers would be much appreciated. I like the idea of the exploded diagrams of the frames, specialized has this (at least available to dealers). As mentioned above, a parts list for axles and machined parts specific to the frame as well as mfg part...
this. the 823 is a full on DH rim. the flow ex is a feather weight dh race rim, and thats pushing it. maybe there is some rim flex, causing your static friction to be overcome by the motion of the rim relative to the hub.
With a squarer profile, i would think that as you turn, the corner...
