Wow. Really well done. I was there last year on a roadtrip but in a cast but still had fun in the area. Looking forward to actually getting to ride this summer too.
I had a med Remedy a few seasons ago and now have a med Evolution. The faceguard is pretty close on the Evolution but nothing uncomfortable about it. I also have a Leatt with the wings slammed and nuts flipped to get the most clearance out of it. On top of that I have the low profile pad kit...
popping the pads out and a getting in there with a gian flathead screwdriver always works for me. Not an endorsed technique so make sure you dont gouge the hell out of the pistons.
Just to clarify on this...
You said "To compete in the series racers will qualify with at least one Downhill race and any 4 other races"
And then said "We will take the six(6) best finishes to determine the overall series winners."
So you need to do at least 5 races (1 DH, 4 of any...
I believe his name tag said "G Baby"...
And one of the other lifties looked so ripped he couldnt open his eyes. Bring back Bob, Mr Hand and K pop
Edit... oh yeah, overall the mtn was in good shape, some of the new stuff was cool, some looked way cooler on the blog.
We did something similar. Stayed in small cabins in NH and NY and it worked out great. Not too expensive but still had a roof over our head and a shower, bed, etc. In NH we stayed at silverlake park campground (cabin 75) and it had tv, ac, a kitchen and was reasonably priced. By Whiteface we...
No idea. Never used, or looked into cafelatex. What could possibly fail? Its liquid rubber. Not trying to be a e-douche... serious question. The homemade has worked great for me and I would say equal to the stans at a fraction of the cost. It seals the small stuff just the same and I never...
To avoid the Stans just go get molding latex from the craft store. 1:1 ratio of latex and water and then add in some glitter to plug bigger holes. $8 worth of latex once mixed up lasted me over a year with changing tires often.
I'll give you that. He does get carried away but provides a lot of energy to it as well. Him teamed up with someone a bit more professional would please about everyone I would think.
If it was a monthly fee and I could watch the live event and the replay as many times as I wanted then sure. To have to pick between one or the other I'd be likely to skip watching the live races which was cool and then at that point I could just watch the highlights online for free.
I feel like less padding in the palm for dh would help reduce arm pump too. Less crap to squeeze to get a good grip. The palms have become paper thin on my Dakines and they feel great.
We rolled the dice and used a diesel chain to lock the bikes to the truck. There are big no bikes inside signs and stuff but I think you could get away with it. Just go up the elevator/steps from the parking garage and avoid the lobby all together. We went in and out through the elevator in...
Personal favorite is Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard. tons of flavors, low carb and low sugar, good amount of BCAA and Glutamine and most of all, the price is reasonable for what you get. Get the price from Vitaminshoppe.com then head to the store and hve them match the price of the web site...
The hotel at the base of the mtn isnt too bad if you split it with 4 people. The time/gas saved from driving back and forth from High Point, having a shower, kitchen and tv, and a balcony overlooking the pits is worth the extra price. The convenience is well worth the price. We stayed there 2...
