Yeah, he is an incredible rider! I’m sure he’ll be back soon and show what he’s capable of. I don’t know much about the DH version of live valve or the brake sensors. Looks to me like he was just committed on a flat and bumpy turn and slid out. Bad luck…. 8 to 12 weeks out his Dad says.

This one got converted into enduro duty yesterday. It’s low and long but with a steeper head angle than the others. Feels very nice a little steeper.

Thanks Adventurous! The latest ones have longer reach, longer chain stays, slightly steeper head angle and a lower starting leverage ratio. One is for an enduro build and the other DH build. Shock extender allows for a 205x65 to reduce the travel to 170 on the enduro build. Plans...

Around 10 and an ebike. Some of them just looked like a bike frame though. It took me a while to learn how to weld and miter properly. The first 2 were sketchy and got retired. Also, I cut up some of the short ones from the beginning to harvest the seat tube assemblies to make new ones. In...

Well it looks cool! Nice work on the miter. I’d like to try something like that. Here are a few more pics of my last frame.

Exactly. It’s just a washer on a steel bolt. That miter on the x tube looks tricky. Did you creep your way up to the final fitup? Did the other one fail or you wanted to attempt the x challenge? Looks sweet!

Same for me. I don’t remember how I used to get it right when I worked at a shop a long time ago, haha.

@Happymtb.fr At least they are the same brand. Those are DT EX511 rims on 240 hubs. Integrated seatpost clamp punkts. Any points for a brass shock bolt washer? Surprised you guys missed the valve on the front wheel.

I got that last frame back from the painter and built it up. It’s a little longer, has a tapered head tube and a lower starting lev ratio.

    Mullet Madness

I’m trying to figure out how to make a high pivot with the existing Gambler rear end. Seems possible? Getting the curves I’d like is tricky but I haven’t given up yet. No hurry though. @Lelandjt No, that’s the steel Neko/5 Land Bikes steel front end like @SuspectDevice said. @Happymtb.fr...
