Where? I've been in Boston since August, and ended up sending my bike back to CA because I couldn't find anything within riding distance or accessible via public transport that would require anything more significant than a cyclocross bike.
Ryan, how is is going man?
Housing is extremely expensive. Makes Santa Barbara (not IV) seem inexpensive.
Are you going to Medical school, or something else? Reason I ask is Tufts Medical center is in South Boston, but the regular Tufts campus is north of the city. I can't comment on...
Enjoying Boston, can't say I enjoyed the riding tremendously. Not having a car only compounded the issue. There seems to be a ton of good stuff around a 30-45min drive from Boston.
Having a 6" bike and only being able to ride Cutler Park and High Rock Park wasn't ideal. Nothing else was...

Don't know if that is still Adrian's number or not, but give him a call. I know he is not doing suspension work full time anymore, but it may still be a "hobby" business for him. Best to give him a call and ask, he's a super nice guy.
Was supposed to head up there tomorrow, but my friend (and ride) just bailed.
Anyone heading up from the Boston area with room for 1 more person? If I can't bum a ride I'm debating just renting a car for the day, so is anyone going to be up there?
I guess I never updated this thread, but I moved to Boston a few weeks ago. Had my bike shipped out, got it a couple days ago.
I'm itching to ride! Anyone want to meet up at the Fells this weekend and show me around? Of if you are willing to provide a lift, I'd love to check out Vietnam...
Sounds like it is the link creaking. Take your link apart, clean everything, re-grease and re-install the link and the noise should calm down for a little while. New box link will solve a lot of the creaking issues.
My first M9 (with the 1st gen link) creaked constantly, no matter what I did...
Got it sorted late last night. The poppet/check valve was the culprit.
I'm not sure how it happened, but the "air valve shaft" or whatever Manitou calls that rod that actuates the poppet valve to open the flow of air to the main chamber wasn't set right. Could have been wrong from the...
Short version first. When I add air to the fork is only pressurizing the negative air chamber, not the positive. The more air I put in the fork, the more it sinks down into the travel. Picture attached is with ~70psi in the chamber. Also it is having issues self-equalizing the chambers. Is...
Have her send you pictures, forward them to some body shops to get a rough estimate. Find a shop that sounds reasonable, and have her meet you there for an inspection. If the shop is agreeable to the both of you then you pay the shop, and she leaves her car.
Done. Not sure how this is so...
I've had both the 2" and 1.25" versions. They are the same. On the 1.25" model, Thule installs a screw on the underside of the hitch to prevent people from installing the add-on. However it is a phillips head screw, and is easily removed.
You better be getting a crazy good deal, because the...
Kings didn't play like they wanted to win tonight. ****ing lazy. Penner took a bunch of stupid penalties, and the Hawks played clean and smart. They controlled the game. Taking 36 shots helps too.
Hopefully the Kings can bring some of the spark they had last year to tomorrow's game. This...
+1 for the LG1R.
Fantastic crankset. I have had zero issues with mine over 2 seasons. They are surprisingly strong. I half expected them to bend as easily as my old gravity lites. Not even close. I've probably taken 3mm off the bottom of each arm from repeated rock strikes. Slide...
50 psi for a 170lb rider? Damn, my settings are way different.
I'm 170 and have been running 82psi in mine. Compared to the setting posted I run about the same TPC but less HSC. Seems to work ok for me. For me, lower air pressures made it feel like it would wallow mid-stroke.
