    Head to Grand Junction and ride the Free Lunch trail and the lunch loops. Silverton is about an hour from Durango, and did not do anything last summer due to large amounts of snow fall from the previous winter. I am not sure what this summer holds for Silverton. Hope this helps Crested Butte...

    new chain ring on old chain?

    Chains don't normally make creaking noises they make squeaking noises. Check your bottom bracket, chain ring bolts, or your seat post clamp for creaks. May need tightening or lube.
