I think im going to order some Odi longnecks and shove some DK anti-throttle bar ends on them. Back in the day i had a very similar grip to the longnecks and really liked them. I would get the DK ironcross grips, but i hate the DK grips i have right now so im scared of them. Although the...
The Odi-lock Ruffians look nice. Has anyone tried them? I have odi-lock Rogue's on my MTB and like them also. If i choose not to get Odi's, does anyone have recommendations for a grip to run with the DK Anti-throttle bar ends (preferably short grips)?
Dirtjumping seems to have taken a toll on the grips of my bmx. What is a good grip set-up that seals the inside of the grips from dirt to eliminate "throttle-grip"? How are the Odi-locks? Any suggestions to keep my grips in place would be cool. Thanks
Eh. I guess ill give it a try. Its just annoying not being able to manual, its almost like im riding brakeless but dont want to admit it. Oh well, sometimes three fingers can get it to lock up. Do you have an recommendations for a chrome rear wheel?
I have a 990 set up with a straight cable and have cleaned/sanded the pads but i cant get good performance with them because of my black rim (i even tried putting soda on the rim). I have an orbital sander and some fine sand paper for metal surfaces. Should i try sanding the black paint off...
When im justing bunnyhopping i can get fairly high, but i can't seem to bunnyhop well onto ledges for feebles. Do i need to swing the rear end of my bike onto the ledge while im hopping onto it or is it all in the approach angle? i have a decent bunnyhop, but i can never bunnyhop anywhere...
I have a rim brake on the back of my bmx that just wont stop me. I just replaced the pads to huge Odessey 2x4's but still no luck. The next thing i tried was sanding the pads alittle but still not alot of improvement. Next, i rubbed soda on the surface of the rims so they got sticky. This...
I just talked to my friend who has the rims and he said they were triple walled so they cant be the same as the mx-22's. Either way im sure they'll be strong enough. Thanks for the replies.
is the 48-hole version of the Alex Y-22 rims (20" of course) strong? They come stock on the 2003 DK Sixpack. Does anyone have any experience with them or know anything about them?
I would recommend buying a bmx from a company more bmx oriented (norco is primarily MTB obviously). Look at the new DK line or an Eastern. There are millions of other options.
will 3/8 axles be ok for all around riding (mainly trail but a fair amount of everything)? The rear axle is converting to 14mm, how does that compare to a regular 14mm axle?
