    Just cleaned the fish tank......

I've got plenty! We have about 70 accounts. Saltwater (reef, FOWLR, FO) and freshwater (cichlids, tropical, predators, plant tanks, ponds), largest tank is 1000g, highest profile account is the over the bed tank from the tv show Tanked. People will go to extreme lengths to avoid cleaning their...

    Nissan Frontier?

I got tired of having a laundry list of things to fix on my car. And I'm 26, single, and financially stable so why the hell not? And following along with the thread, since 08 I've owned: 2 cars 6 snowboards 3 pairs of skis ~10 bikes

    Just cleaned the fish tank......

I clean/install fish tanks for a living. Hauling hundreds of gallons of water a day is a good way to not get fatter.

    Nissan Frontier?

Digging up this thread for an update. Ended up buying a brodozer. 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB 4x4. 90k miles. I bought it bone stock and lifted it ~3" with Bilstein shocks and Icon springs, and added Method wheels and BFG KO2 33" all terrains. I spent a little more than I would have on a...

    Nissan Frontier?

I definitely want a truck over an SUV. My Subaru has a decent amount of space in it with the seats folded down, but I'm always worried about messing up the interior when I haul stuff in it and I'd only be more worried about it in a newer vehicle. Basically I'd rather use a truck for it's...

    Nissan Frontier?

So my Subaru is on its last legs, and I need to buy a truck for practical reasons. I know there is a ton of hype in the mountain biking community and elsewhere over the Toyota Tacoma, and I get it, but a Nissan Frontier seems like it's more or less the same truck, but for wayyy less money. Has...

CHALLENGE: You must now drive from wherever you are to Anchorage. You can only use your DD.

Where the fvck are you guys spending $3-$4/gal for gas...? It's under $2/gal here in NC. At that price it'd be about $375 in gas to get there from here in my Subaru. But I would use the $5k to rebuild the engine in my 02 outback, set the back up really nice for sleeping, then spend the rest on...

135x12 Thru axle hubs... why can't I find any

Yeah I know but everything I find is either out of stock or stupid expensive. I was hoping to find something used because I'm on a tight budget to get this build rideable quick. And I still have to buy a DC fork and good brakes

    ♢☆♢Thursday GMT♢☆♢

Dog woke me up early this morning chasing a fly around. Had coffee, smoothie, and workout. It's a beautiful day here but I get to go to work and watch other people ride.. Thursdays are my mondays.

Well I haven't been here in a while....

Been schooling part time (8 credits away from a biology degree!) and working a bunch.Working full time managing a ski school in the winter and working at the bike park in the summer and lots of random jobs in between. I've also traveled around the Caribbean and Central America some. Oh and I got...

135x12 Thru axle hubs... why can't I find any

Building an older DH frame (2009 Transition Blindside) on a budget and I can't find a rear wheel that'll fit. Should I just find a cheap used wheelset and rebuild with the right hub if I can find one? Or is there a way to make a 142x12 work? Options?

Well I haven't been here in a while....

Its good to see a lot of familiar names. Still ride bikes, just not as much because life has been busy. But I'm working at a bike park for the summer and just started building a DH bike, so I figured I'd come back.

    Proxy help

So my school just installed an incredibly restrictive web filter... Right now I'm using a web based proxy to bypass it, but it's already pretty annoying to use, and won't let me access other proxy sites that are blocked by the webfilter, so that kind of limits my ability to research a better...
