2007 Raceface prodigy DH forged cranks. isis drive and 175mm, white in color
I bought these new and I haven't used them in years. They have less then a season on them and when I say less then a season I literally mean a hand full of weekend end rides. The cranks are in great shape, a few minor...
Com'on dart, what really happened? I heard Ralphie got booted, Charlie moved to Texas... I believe. But whatever happened to Rich a.k.a mud'n'sweat? He was such a strong rider and was always very active on this board and on MTBR then all of a sudden he just disappeared. Did he get picked up...
I remember the 03,04 dorados and at the time they were around 1000-1200 depending on the model and I tried to pull up the reviews of the fork on mtbr and it's weird, the reviews are no longer there. Anyone else experience this?
who pissed in your cheerios this morning? Yes the prices are increasing, partly due to inflation, partly due to an increase in the cost of gas in relation to the transport of products and partly due to mfg's hiking the crap out of the costs of there products. A friend of mine owns a bike shop...
all I can say is at the prices they are pushing for their bikes that come stock with a bunch on their inhouse parts, I will not be buying a new Specialized bike this year. Hello EBAY, home of the reasonable priced bikes!
It's disappointing to see such retardedly high prices for bikes these days
I can't say I do much racing anymore these days, regrettably. And being part of the midwest riding crew.... can't say I get out to east coast trails much either, although I have heard nothing but good things about that part of the US for cycling in several disciplines
perhaps, but I will still pass on the Giant. And at 12.5 lbs you have to admit that is alot of weight for todays standards. However, I will say this about Giant they still have reasonable prices which does make them more appealing compared to many of the leading mfg's who are pushing 4,5, and...
Good googly-moogly, that is alot of weight for a frame these days even with the shock. I hope for Giant's benefit, even though I am not a big Giant fan, they can take off a couple of lbs by 2010.
what about wheels laced with the chicken-wire style which was the rage in the late 90's for downhill, those were supposed to be pretty stong as well as overly heavy. They were pretty cool looking.
I did a search on google to try and find a pic of one but no luck. Anyone else?
in my opinion, that ride is perfect.... except for the mallets. I had a bad experience with mallets last year and since then, I can't say I'm a fan of them.
But I AM still a fan of crankbros!
