I'm now just 2 weeks out of my CAM Walker or boot, whatever you want to call it (ruptured left Achilles) and I made a "toe box" that I custom molded to my foot from a piece of plastic and used the Velcro on the boot to hold it in place. That kept out just about everything.
Really pumped to see a DH race here in MA. I've got a ruptured Achilles that needs to be operated on soon but I'm praying that I'll be able to rehab in time for that race. They tell me about 6 months before it'll be 100% so as long as there are no set backs I'll be there.
Not a huge fan of the olive color but i do happen to like the down tube musashi logo. I'm sure the color will look better in person once built up as appose to the computer render shown here. Overall you really cant make a musashi look bad. :thumb:
I love everything I've got from the crew at Candy Components. Been putting the Flapjack pedals through hell this year and they are holding up better than I could have imagined. As for the headset I was going to run one on a Mushasi this year but kidney issues have kept me out of the DH scene so...
That would be their own design. A Moto GP Floating Suspension system. This is how it was explained over on MTBR.
"nothing like a DW or Maestro set up. the geometry and link movement are way different and thus creating a different wheel/axle path for sure. the bikes have a rearward path at the...
The stem your referring to is the Candy Components Knucklehead direct mount stem. 45mm/50mm/55mm adjustable 1" of rise. I've been running their Flapjack pedals all summer and I couldn't be happier with them. I bought their DM stem and handle bar too but for health reasons I can no longer DH but...
Killer! I cant wait to get back on a bike and shred with everyone. Ruptured ATFL in my right ankle has kept me grounded all summer. I did just get a few XC rides in this past weekend, maybe DH before the end of the riding season. I would be great for have a ESC DH race here in Ma.
Thanks for the offer but there is a metal gate that leads through a field and I'm pretty sure the bus wont fit through the gate. Most likely for early season riding I'll just walk through the field so it doesn't get torn up.
Adstock Im sure we can arrange some transport for ya. I'll send out...
Sure man. All are welcome to come ride or help. I know some of the other One Ghost East team riders are itching to come up and ride too. Once the trail is ready to rip I'll get everyone together and have a group DH session day. Might need to find another shuttle truck with all the riders I've...
My DH trails are located in Colrain Ma and under heavy tree cover so its gonna take a long time to melt off. I was just down in the NoHo area and seems to be snow free....from what i could see through the brewery windows that is :thumb:
Still too much snow here in western mass for anything DH related. I thought at least I'd be doing some trail work by now. And with a look at the 10 day forecast I wont be able to anytime soon, temps hovering around 34 for a high.
