I'm already over this day. Trying to untangle a mess of Apple interconnected security/verification nonsense across about 15 iPads my department uses. Stupid student employees thinking they are helping... Then again, maybe if I was an Apple guy I'd know my way around this stuff a bit better...

Were there any unexpected hoops or hang-ups that slowed the process, or was that the standard processing/wait time?

Busy weekend... Went to Manhattan for a couple of days, had some family stuff, a little house work and a whole. lotta. rain. Hopefully things will dry out for some mid-week riding. We shall see. Gotta get a service appointment for my car scheduled today, also hoping to hear back about a job...

I'm sure a big part of it is familiarity, or lack there of. I can see myself setting the post a smidge higher if I could get good at dropping it only a few inches rather than all the way. It's something I need to be very conscious of when doing/using it, and I just don't have the interest or...

Your First Proper Mountain Bike, What Was It?

I had a rigid steel Diamondback, then a full squish Mongoose.

probably 80% of full leg extension I'm sure it's because I've ridden sans dropper for 20 years and I'm comfortable riding that way. Dropping the post away makes me feel out of control... I like having the saddle between my legs to stay in contact with the bike.

Nothing is wrong with it, I just don't see the benefit and never use it.

Rode yesterday, some tough climbing... legs are heavy today. New bike is breaking in nicely. Best tech/advancement vs old bike... wider rims. Worst tech... dropper post.

Yesterday was a failure of a day, in pretty much every way possible. But such is life sometimes. Sometimes? meh, anyways... Today looks to be the first of 3 good weather days... do I fish or do I ride? Hmmm... On a different note... I'm trying to get some old gear cleaned out of the...

Morning all. Came home to a gas leak at our dryer connection last night. Fortunately it was after the shutoff valve, so emergency averted, but no dryer use for a few days until I can get it fixed. Weather was unseasonably nice last week, but has gone back to the normal unpredictably blah for...

I'm late to the party, but I'm here. Busy weekend, but no riding unfortunately. Weather looks iffy this week, so it may be a week of cleaning/tuning/googling upgrades.

Went fishing last night... thought the creeks would be warm enough that fish would be moving up to spawn... but not quite yet. Quiet day at work today... may duck out early for a ride.
