OK much appreciated. Could you please use a tape measure and try to get me the center to center measurement?
it should be 5.50 for the non boost and 5.75 for the boost.
what size and how do you have it setup? I demo'd a large and really liked it. I saw woo had a thread about making custom rockers for his 26" to use a coil a while back, did that ever get done
i rode a Demo Turner RFX for one loop in Sedona, AZ last month. Im a big fan of DW's earlier bikes and was blown away how the RFX pedals, jumps, did everything 10/10. Im not a latest-greatest fanboi and still riding 3-5 year old bikes, but I got off the RFX thinking about what i can sell to...
i was never a turner fanboy. until i rode the RFX last weekend... that bike is epic. bar none best ive ever ridden. I need to sell something.
ps for me, the bos deville didnt work as well as the avalanche cart + lyrik
i remember DW posted up years ago that the linkage design site was not accurate for the Sunday DW link. Didnt you have a DHR? how did you like that and was the shock tuning / behavior similar or different
Digging your guys mojo hd's! ive had a lot of bikes over the last few years, this is so far my all time favorite trail bike (because i havent owned an HD yet).. '08 7point with 8.5" shortened rear shock, avy lyrik and -2deg headset. it needs an avy tuned rear shock to replace this ccdba...
post your 26" bike that you will be riding this year, relevant modern geometry bikes only.
here is my 2014 morewood jabula and my friends 2012 dixon. Both are running 1x with a saint/zee and narrow wide. also my 2008 sunday that doesnt get ridden enough due to jabula being so fun
the exo is a great all-mountain/enduro tire... not a DH tire. instead of 1.5mm tubes, gorilla tape + stans works really, really well and does not flat when setup properly
i dunno about that.. I tried using a Sunday for aggressive AM use and its just too much bike. its great on a chairlft tho!
edit: went back to the '08 6/7point for pedally days
if you have F7 lower links you dont have to trim much. however I recommend the xfusion air HLR, with dw tune. that is a seriously badass airshock on the sunday
i suggest two options - either get avy cart for your boxxer (35mm stanchions) or find a kashima fox 40 coil. They are going to cost...
-08 7point (straight top tube) weighs about 1lb less than older 7point (bent top tube), due to the tubeset butting and the linkages/rear triangle/longer CS on the older one.
-08 7point weight about 0.4 lbs more than the 08 6point due the the larger OD tubeset
-if you run a 170mm fork on a...
if you ride a medium sunday you should be on the medium '08 7point OR Large '07-older 7point. Both will meet modern geometry once you add a -1.5 or -2 degree headset.
No matter which front triangle, use the new rear end/links from a 6point or 08 7point for the shorter cs and improved geometry...
