morning, all. been a while since i've been over here.
new with me? (as if anyone remembers who the he!! I am) married for over a year, kiddo on the way (little girl due aug 17), spankin' new seven duo 29er sitting in the garage.
ah, life is good.
edit: where'd my post count go?
a freakish 33:21 for the steep stuff we have here in socal. sucks on flat though. perfect for climbing.
another question: how many 29ers are running longer cranks over your 26er?
try it, but do it on the cheap, just in case you flat out dont like it, or dont have the knees for it (not sure why the latter would be the case- I've got tendenitis in both knees and since being a SSer, my knees have only gotten better)
1. borrowing a friend's SS- cheap, possibly free-...
it had high torque issues- if you SS in flat areas, it'd be great.
as far as Jericho goes, Josh (owner type) supposedly is getting the whole shebang back up and running. some fine steeds, indeed. and not to mention Josh is a pretty cool guy to both have build a bike and hang with...
yes and no. you can purcahse them for use on your confuser and on your Ipoddity. but they're protected, so, no, you cant put them on a CD for use in your car or in the office.
but like I mentioned above- does anyone actually do that anymore? its a dying breed- everyone in my office seems to...
no- NOT stealing- want to purchase them legally, but want to burn them to a cd that will play in a cd player....if anyone owns those anymore....
i have itunes. it works fine. i just need to move stuff to a cd.
I know, I have fallen off the face of the earth, but work's firewall doesnt allow me to that of the :monkey:, so work has been on the productive side. to top it off, I'm getting married in a month and a week, but that's the least of the worries- we're trying to put together a CD of favorte...

im not even sure i should reply....but i will anyways.

26"wheels:
175mm cranks
34:20
29"wheels"
180mm cranks
33:21
feels perfect to me.
I've always heard that there's a 10% difference between 26ers and 29ers, but i believe that deals with only the wheel size....so all...
23 lbs.
oh- the boone chainring attaches via a spline, kinda like last generation XTR. but different- the "teeth" on the spline are more rounded, versus the square-ish ones that shimano does.
thought i'd abuse RM with pics of what needs not be changed. if anyone's looking for a perfect custom segmented rigid fork (had it built to be very similar to the ride height of a 29er RS REBA in 80mm mode), there isnt a place further to look than waltworks. oh man- good guy to work with...
