    CCDB service manual anybody ?

You will want to replace the air piston, backup rings, and quad ring. Possibly need to replace oil sealhead and inner damper tube. You will need proper tools and preferably a vacuum bleeder with proper fittings. Is your bike a Trunnion or clevis/plug mount by chance? Those linkage designs plus...

Enduro forks - digging through fecal matter

Give them a call. There was an issue with them not receiving emails for some time. It's a common misconception that they were intentionally not returning emails, which is not true. Ask for Colin or Eric.

Enduro forks - digging through fecal matter

Yes.... They are wayyyyyyy over damped for one thing. We have had lots of problems with CSU noise out of the box, lower bushings not sized properly, and multiple batches shipped without oil in the lowers. I had two warranties. A coil replaced my air that had air spring issues along with multiple...

    CCDB service manual anybody ?

I doubt 99.9% of riders could tell a difference between the two in real life. Since the gas charge behind the bladder/ifp is what is being compressed mostly (and not the ifp/bladder) it doesn't seem to translate to a noticeable difference.

Enduro forks - digging through fecal matter

Handmade in the USA. There are three techs that build everything from sub-assemblies all the way to packaging. Each fork damper is dyno tested, each fork is hand dyno tested, then live tested on the dyno.

Enduro forks - digging through fecal matter

Slight exaggeration. Mainly aimed at the kids that ride all weekend at the bike park, pressure wash their bikes, and expect the fork to feel like it was just serviced. It's a mechanic thing.

    CCDB service manual anybody ?

Cool, wonder what the charge pressure is and what hysteresis would look like on the dyno compared to the stock IFP.

Enduro forks - digging through fecal matter

Helm air FTW. Mine is butter and doesn't feel like crap after one day in the bike park.

    CCDB service manual anybody ?

If it the bladder: Charge it then submerge the shock. Depending on where the bladder is torn it will leak right away usually. Only way to tell for sure is to loosen the gland nut and pull the bladder. If there isn't an adequate amount of Slick Honey where the bladder interfaces with the cylinder...

    CCDB service manual anybody ?

Not sure what you mean. The IL cylinder heads use a bladder to account for thermal expansion and oil displacement. The CS cylinder heads use a traditional IFP. So...they are not interchangeable.

    Cane Creek XV air can?

There are several cool projects in the works. I had the privilege of of working as a tech for a season there right when the Helm was initially released. The whole staff are some of the smartest, kindest people I have ever worked with. Everyone from engineering to inventory are truly awesome people.

    Cane Creek XV air can?

The XV can has been mostly shelved. It will help slightly however it won't really make a big difference. What will help is a negative coil spring oil seal head that the made OE for Santa Cruz. I have been testing it in my 2018 Enduro and it really helps with initial small bump sensitivity. Call...

    Beech Mtn 2015

Usually opens the first weekend in June. It hasn't been officially announced. Just keep an eye on the forums here or on their website. They have a few renovations to do but word on the street is "business as usual". I just spoke to Gil Adams and he wants me to start working that weekend. But...

Air spring in 2015 Boxxer Team

No, I do not work for Sram. However, I do work on bikes for a living so... I do agree with you that the team is better. The latest iteration of air springs are a hell of a lot better than the previous generations though. My old WC would feel great right after a full rebuild/service but only for...

Air spring in 2015 Boxxer Team

Even with the isolators/coating the inside of the stanchion can still get small scratches. I converted a brand new 2012 team to a WC and had issues with the stock stanchion. Even with a light you won't be able to see every imperfection.

Air spring in 2015 Boxxer Team

You will need a new stanchion as well. The spring scratches the inside of the stanchion.

The geometry will be pretty far off. Why don't you just get new fork lowers?
