I can see the threads on the sides. This is the 2nd rear tire from Specialized that has done this. I just need to suck it up and get grid casings and banish my inner weight weenie. I went from 250 to 207lbs so fuck light tires, I’m skinny now!
i had to air it up yesterday during my ride because of the weeping. It’s on both sides and all around. I figure if it’s not sealed in 3 months it’s not gonna happen. I’ve used a half a bottle of Stan’s on this thing hoping it would seal.
Yeah, I see that . If you ride flow trails or gravel roads they would work but I ride in a place mainly with roots and rocks = no bueno.
Have you tried the minion SS? I’m trying that tire next.
It’s funny you mention that. I just noticed that it’s really close to the seat tube on my drive side. Is that something that matters and if so what’s the fix?
Anybody have the spacer size for the rocker pivot axle on a OG MT? I took it apart to lube it up and it only had one on the drive side.... or is it only supposed to have one???
Just had a life flash before my eyes moment with XT m8000 brakes last weekend. I’m done. The brakes were working then straight to the bars. I have a new helmet otw because of it.
That’s how I feel aboot my 36 RC2 now that I’ve Push coiled it.
I’m in the 200lb+ club and I could never get the air spring to work for me. Coil has solved my problems and now the RC2 actually works!
I have no clue, the picture was of black ones. I’ll find out in a few days, they could be sending pink for all I know.
I wish they had gold ones. My hubs are Hope gold. I like da gold.
Just about died the other day riding Windrock when i pulled on my XT lever and nothing happened... I’m talking front brake just wasent there! I pumped it in a panic and got brakes but I still ended up in the dirt.
Ordered F/R V4s the next day off Merlin for $400 shipped.
The last time I rebuilt my oros this is the email I used to get parts. No promises because it’s been a few years. (2013) I still have my k24’s hanging in my garage. They were one of my favorite brakes of all time. I wish I would have stocked up on parts.
