Working on an enduro for the Brevard area, gonna be a bit different, its gonna use Strava and garmins. You'll have about three monthes to do the loops, and you can do them multiple times. There will be certain timed sections and they'll be added up at the end. Ill have more details up soon...
Dang May 5th is PMBAR. Not a big deal for most dh guys I know but I'm probably out so all the xc guys at the shop can go ride in Pisgah for 9+ hrs.
Still a better date than mothers day I reckon.
so ive recently acquired some specialized s-works mtn cranks with a removeable spider and im trying to find a spiderless chainring that will work for it, something like what homebrewed components has, except they don't offer a chainring for the specialized pattern. im trying to run a single ring...
Im gonna go ahead and open up the house for anyone that would like to extend their trip for a couple days of trail riding and make the drive down to brevard. Even just built triple bunkbeds.
pisgah+dupont= 600 miles of badass trail riding.
mueller knows...
a hardtail or fs slalom rig would be ideal for this track, but dont stress if you dont have one, the track can be ridden fast without leaving the ground at all. it also doesnt have much pedaling in it, just a ton of flow. its going to make for some great racing.
i just picked up one of the new specialized complete bmx bikes and it came with some plastic pedals from spec. they grip way better than i thought they would i have to admit, but i still have some metal pedals one the way. gotta go with what im used too.
big thanks to the crew at etsu for the ton of work they put into this race! i was over a few weeks earlier and i was pretty amazed they pulled it off with all the course work. good job guys, sorry about the weather.
