Call Andy at Skagit Pedal Sports in Anacortes. He lives by Sedro Woolley. They have a CX race there in the fall and the town is laid back. There are a few bikers up there that have their own stuff. Give it a chance.
I miss the days of the Monster T's. Those forks saved my bacon more times than you could shake a stick. My Hairy Gary with those forks you just pointed down the hill and went. Women, children and small out-buildings didn't dare get in the way.
Hey Buttercup, whats up? Thanks for letting me post some of your moto vids on the web site from time to time, One of these days you'll have to stop by the shop at bourbon:30!
Man Ethan looked young in that photo. Colton still sees him when Ethan stops to pick up a pizza where he works.
Sandwich it felt really good before and now with a little more fork travel and larger stanchions look out. What I should have said was " feels even more like an all mountain bike now
J-Dubs I am 6' and have a 32-33" inseam. I am riding an 18" frame. 2012 model I used the stock stem flipped down...
In flat tight twisty stuff You have to use a little bit of the head and shoulders to get around the sharp corners. It does the job. Point the nose down the slightest decline and let go of the brakes. It flat out hauls balls. It's a lot of fun to ride. Way more all mountain than xc bike.
Clearance is great.
Yeah I had asked Mrs Sam earlier in the year for orange. When I got them I had to wait to build them to go on my HH Supreme because we were finishing a couple of large contracts. Just swapped out the front hub to 20mm for this bike. They did us some gold 650b Flows that just pop!
Finally got the wheel set built up I wanted on the bike. Still waiting on the tires. But the maiden voyage was a blast. Frozen slippery roots, mud and good friends! Was surprised how much I liked the Revelation fork. On the way down it handled all the root balls, holes and rocks we threw at it
MMcG the chainstays are the same length. They changed the the rocker and seat tube diameter. It feels stiffer under load like when you have to ratchet crank around a corner. I'm really liking the way it handles so far.
Pesqeeb thanks on the wheels. Stan's Flow, Phil Wood black double butted...
2011 Kona Hei Hei 29.
Changed the saddle because it was my favorite and changed the wheels because wheels are what we do.
Only have a few rides so far.
