I remember we talked about dogs way back when at a Monkeyfest. We are now dog-less and are thinking about adopting a greyhound. Are y'all still involved with the GH rescue? If so, which one? Alternatively, is there one in the Boston area that you have worked with that you recommend?
A couple/three things:
(1) I can bring a cheesecake or two. Will there be room in the fridge? I am open to suggestions as to what flavors.
(2) Any other non-riding significant others going?
(3) We won't be leaving until Fri. morning, but I can ride on Thursday if any monkeys are passing through...
Saw Dillenger a few years ago and liked them a lot. Saw them before Mastodon a couple of weeks ago and jeez did they suck. Red Fang and Mastodon were epic. House of Blues Boston is a bland venue but it has had consistently good sound.
Snow is almost gone here on the seacoast in NH. Hampton is good, but most of the towns around here lost power and some still aren't back yet. Beautiful day to have free. I just took the dogs to the beach for a run, now I am off to the hardware store.
Rye is a good indoor park (let me know when you go, it is about 15 minutes from my house). Granite Skate in Nashua is alright. Hopkinton is a good outdoor park. I haven't been in NH long, but my buddy Eric knows every park worth riding and all the super secret digging spots.
