Interesting.
My last M9 was the bomb with the CCDB.
All about the lo speed rebound and lots of it.
Never felt shaken apart and never ever noticed braking bumps.
Awesome in tech and steep.
Hard to make it jump right/hop on lower speed stuff though, which I didn't notice until I got on the V10...
Do you know about the pedal upgrade at Crank BRos.?
Send ANY clipless pedal in for a new set of CB pedals, mallet 3 included.
Dig in that bike box of death and find those relics!
I have a new/used 2012 V10.3 or .4 (how can you tell the diff? Serial #?)
Is there a single location for all the torque specs?
I've searched this site and this link and have a few conflicting values.
Thanks peeps.
I used my e clip groove as a sawcut guide to run my e13 chain guide nice and tight to the frame.
Never had the bolts loosen and didn't loctite them.
Oh wait. Yeah I DID loctite them eventually. Blue 242 compound.
Make sure not to mix the grease and loctite... could cause unnecessary yelling and...
You just gotta ride both and find what each teaches you.
All the aforementioned pros ride flats when they're 'effin around.
And for races they switch back and forth, note Ratboy this year.
I think what RC was pushing was development of body position and the geometry of the modern dh bike...
You find it jumps ok in the 9.5 travel setting? Ich.
I worked it the other way from there down to the 8.5 setting.
And I can't see a reason to change it ever.
I have it set in the medium progressive setting/middle hole.
Love it there.
Oh and way more slo speed rebound than I ever though...
I think Whitley is obscuring the obvious when he blathers on about "Natural Talent".
Read "Talent Is Overrated" to understand this. Thanks Gene.
I think he's pushing voodoo and pulling the Jedi mind trick on all the other contenders to protect his charge. Very smart guy.
What? You think...
I read on Bike Radar (or somewhere newsy with pics, not a forum speculation...) that the Demo 8 team replica frame in Fact 11 will be available in the 150 rear spacing. Been thinking this route would be the way for me and gives me the option of using the Canfield Capreo specific hub if I want to...
Had an L5-S1 laminectomy a couple of years back. Had to learn how to walk again.
Now I'm riding bigger and better than I ever have. All core training. Give yourself the time to heal and get strong again. If you work toward really small and specific goals, you will over achieve your grandest...
I have about 8 rides on the new link. Super dope. Easy install.
Super easy shock removal by opening the lower link too. Probably will make it easier to disassemble and take my bike in a bag on the plane as well.
Nothing has come loose. Rear swing arm/triangle is just as unflexy as before, if...
