    My pumptrack

my $0.02 is that you should take out 1-2 rollers per straight and open it up a bit. the struggle for speed and flow that i'm seeing looks to be because of the rollers being to tight together. more vertical change/dip could be good too, but if you want to keep it above grade and not having...

any good bike related video games for xbox 360

PUMPED BMX!!! not so much xbox though, ive played on ipad and iphone. But I have logged maaaaaany enjoyable hours playing the three games they put out. By far, the release last year, Pumped bmx 3 is the best. But if you have not enjoyed any of the pumped series, you might want to start with the...

    New(ish) Trails

When panamoka (https://www.facebook.com/Panamoka-Trails-161104747259725/) got plowed two years ago, i tried to adapt and started digging at 4 different spots to try and fill the void. One of them was the old site of the original panamoka trails that was pretty near to what was most recently...

    New(ish) Trails

Our dearly beloved bmx & dirt jumping forum has been soooo slow for a long time. Its just not the time sink of work-time-wasting that I wish it still was. But then again, with instagram and such, its so easy to just look and share and overlook the discussion and written-word aspects.... So I'm...

    New DJ/Slope Bike

its been years since i was on mtb, now its just bmx, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that the frame is the first choice. Once you know that, you can figure out your whole build and get it all at once, or in any order you want since you can't ride till you've got all the...

    Dirt jump help.

yes, it sounds like a layering problem. this does happen where if you layer, the outside layer will sheer off when it dries. Also, if the original dirt is junky, dig it out and back fill, you'll just never get junk dirt to pack and hold. If the under-dirt is good then I suggest thoroughly...

    WTP Curse 20'

if it is the one currently on the wtp site, I would swap out the handle bars and forks first without a moments hesitation. they are listed as both being hi tensile steel which is heavier and/or weaker than chromolly. I personally have a history of snapping 1020 hi-ten parts and a frame. You...

    Faction Amero 22"

did you measure the z from center tube to center tube or just the exposed top tube length? (that might account for the 0.6" discrepancy). Make sure you are comparing apples to apples of measurements. You could always contact a dealer/shop/faction to get the measurement you might want to know....

    Building the first dirt jump

oh yes, and your land looks a bit flat-ish, so don't forget drainage... http://trailrambling.wordpress.com/2013/04/30/ultimate-drainage-guide/

    Building the first dirt jump

Yowsa!, that landing looks i bit small and tight. Big landings are your friend. Also, it looks like you've got a whole area cleared out for your digging. I'd suggest making things either much bigger than you think you need, but easy or space them out. That way, if they are big you can...

My old-man line (read: pump/manual/jump/fly-out line)

Years in the making, the first video of my old man line!! And yes, before you get your hopes up, it is a POV and completely unedited/raw..... so its shaky, and you can't really see $hi+ well... but it is really fun to ride :D. and no it is not quite done yet, I added seven sets and a big berm...

Whats the weight limit for BMX/Jump bikes?

true on the smooth point. 'ride bmx' means many things... trails? track/race? park? street? plenty of tall and heavy dudes rock bmx bikes. Go to a store pedal some around, find a buddy that rides and borrow theirs, or just get a frame of appropriate size for the style of riding you want to do...

    Help building Nukeproof Solum DJ

double the profile cranks suggestion. In fact, coming from the bmx perspective, I'd say any profile product is a safe bet. Not always ideal, but always safe. As for forks, thats usually one of the most expensive components (as I recall, no mtb for me for quite a while now). So run what...
