I was going to say that if you're on expansive soils then it wouldn't be a bad idea to presaturate the subgrade prior to laying down the aggregate base. That way, when the subgrade picks up moisture (and it will) it will already be in the expanded condition. Johnbryanpeters has a good idea...

Just got off the phone with SRAM (after talking to the shop I used to work at) and apparently the Elixir and XO Trail pairing should work just fine. If not, they sell a conversion kit that will change the set from tool-less reach adjust to tooled (getting rid of the adjustment knob).

I like Groove Shark when I want to hear a specific song but have found that their radio algorithm (or whatever they use to guess your musical tastes) isn't quite as good as Pandora's.
