    Trans Alp-ing?

Stuttgart ODR has some MTB rides when the weather is warmer. I would look into that for getting back on some local trails first (unless you already ride local). I'm bouncing between Grafenwoher, Stuttgatrt, and Mannheim @ the moment, and don't ride too often any more. I hope Weisbaden has some...

Love to tag along if people have the time this week. No rentals avial. I'll see if the wife will let me drop a few dollars on a cheap bike for the vacation. I can't wait to be back in the NE in familiar country. Been too long overseas.

Some technical singletrack would be nice. I rode allot in KS and now in Germany, but I am in an area without too many ascents & descents. Theres a trail local to me, forget the name, but it's in Sterling. I haven't been back to the area in almost 8 years to ride.

    Biking in MA

Around the home-state for a while, on leave from Germany. What parks do the locals recommend (I'm in the Worcester area) to ride? I did not bring my bikes, and would require a rental? Also, are there any demo days upcoming? I'll be out @ upstate NY riding the Adirondacks for this weekend, but...

Vilseck / Grafenwoehr MTB'ing with Outdoor Rec. (DoD Cardholders)

Did a ride around Hutten and broke out thru ODR's race track, its super overgrown. Its a little perilous with 2 - 4 ft grass you cant see some of the ravines and such, but it's got some nice fast parts and some good climbs. Theres also allot of area to explore around there, and you dont even hit...

Anyone down for a trip? Bullhead is a pretty close jaunt from Graf & Vilseck. Maybe try and get some nice XC/AM & DH in all in one day. Maybe plan this for Late July / Early August? I'd like to get a few others onboard to offset the gas and so I'm not the only one speaking mu broken 'schlescht'...

For anyone stationed in Bavaria and cool enough to be on ridemonkey.com, the Grafenwoher and Vilseck area have a pretty good core group of mountianbikers that meet every Monday. Wanted to see if there are any lurkers on here that are either already members, or want to join. Contact the Graf...
