Its.the same tire i bought the bike with. :ve ridden it three times since it came back from dicks sporting goods. 1st and 2 nd day it was fine, 3rd day it started rubbing and i parked it in the garage..
The issue I have here is when I pedal I see the rear tire hit the left side of the frame it also makes a humming sort of sound.... It occurs more so when going uphill.... I did check the chain and seat stays they seem ok, could it be anything else...
the bike is a Dback response xe....
My brake cable either got stretched out or something, all I know is that it's hanging by my knees when I ride and makes it difficult to ride... How might I rehang it properly...
It's me again the bike noob with a possible dumb question. I ride a D-back response I bought at dicks. I hear a metal on metal crunching through all my gears now, I might have inadvertently cross chained. I'm not sure what's going on here, it only does it when I ride, not when I put it...
After reading this jab on Dick's, I now understand that I should never take my bike back there again.... What would be a better alternative?, I need repairs badly no thanks to an ass hat at Dickless Sporting goods...
It turns out Dick's does indeed suck at bike repair. I took my bike in for it's 1 year tune up, it was free with the warranty... I made them a list of issues they needed to look at, came back a week later to find out they adjusted what was on the list and ruined everything else, what ass hats...
After hours reading about cross chaining. I don't believe I have cross chained, as I have never removed it.. If I bought it that way, I wouldn't know.. How do I know what a "strait" chain should look like on a 21 speed bike.
Ty Smelly, very helpful... I bought the bike from Dick's, is there something I should know about them? I'll take a look at the steering column see if anything's amiss.
