Hi Udi, I hope the OP doesn't mind me getting a little off topic here but could you please elaborate on this. I would love to hear your opinion on this as the first thing I did when I got my V10.6 was remove the RC4 and replace it with a DHX2.

Having trouble getting a copy of this magazine and am keen on reading DIRT Mags review on the V10c.
Its not like my e.13 guides have gone brittle, cracked, melted, or completely failed under use or anything. But I have spotted a small crack around some of the bolts, which at first I thought was from over tightening (being plastic i figured that would be easy to do) but after seeing these...
So its come to my attention that the use of certain chain lubes and citrus degreasers on the polycarbonate plastics we find on our chain guides from E.13 and MRP are forbidden. Embarrassingly I have been using Prolink ProGold chain lube and weldtite citrus degreaser. :doh:

I have been fiddling around with the fork crowns on my 09 Boxxer Teams. The user manual says "no more than 160mm of exposed upper tube above the lower crown".
Because I have a low stack height I had some stanchion above my upper crown. So I have dropped the stanchions through the crowns, and...
The fork hasn't been leaking anywhere so i havn't lost any fluid out of the fork. But when removing the lowers i was surprised at the amount of oil that came out of the right leg, much more that the 15ml thats suppose to be in there. Which probably proves that the damper fluid is leaking into...
So my Motion Control damper in my 2009 Pike 454's has stopped working. So with the help of the Rockshox Technical Manual I thought i would give fork servicing a go. Bought the tools I needed to do the job and have disassembled my forks. Pretty simple really.
Pretty sure I'm up for a new Motion...
