Whis dh top to bottom - open
drc - open
joyride top to bottom - open with some small lakes
Schleyer's lake dried up :)
Fitz was closed though...hopefully it's open for the weekend.
Joyride top to bottom was open. DRC will be open this weekend as there was some snow preventing it last weekend. Whis dh got some work done to it last weekend so I imagine it will be open this weekend. Hopefully Lake Schleyer is gone this weekend. The national race course was also open :) And...
What price are you looking to spend? Personally, I'd hop on that DT but if 200 is pricey for you....finding a 12x150 hub may prove to be an interesting task.
Spokompton you are on crack! There is some rather fun loops to be had at SST.
Head up to the cemetery for a pretty good test of a bike's flat-cornering abilities, pedaling abilities and such. Then drop by the flow park for some drops to flat :)
GHY - nicely done!
I actually saved some coin and just wear actual pajamas when I ride/race. That way I can roll outta bed as my category is called and I can climb back into bed right after my last race run. Stevie was onto something :)
Yeah but hasn't Snoq made it painfully clear over the last few seasons that this is not going to happen? At least there is a Stevens rep on these forums sharing their plans for an upcoming bike park...personally I don't care which opens as long as we our own bike park in the future :)
I was thinking more like...won't it be nice when Stevens opens up and we have legal full length dh training or out right races without issues like this coming up?
...'til then it's the FR Cup, exits and Whistler. Those have satisfied many for quite a few seasons already, what's one more.
:)
This is an excellent point. But therein also lies a problem. For areas like Seattle, how many bike-only trails are there that are legal to hold races on?
It takes a very "way out there" place to pull this off without any negative feedback or a rather rare landowner/builder agreement...both...
So does this mean that both the FR Cup and the Whiteface 5k will not have UCI points associated with those who take their respective categories (that are UCI pointable)?
