no one likes their tank after they ride it for a couple weeks. i think you should just practice on a mountain bike (or what ever you have) and save for a decent starters bike, if you like a mod monty makes the xalp which is on sale for like $350 complete at www.webcyclery.com and that is a much...
learning to pedal kick is just a matter of timing. you want to release the rear brake and push on the peal all while the rear tire is off the ground. to get more distance let the front wheel come down a bit and then kick, its easier to see than it is to explain, go to www.observedtrials.net...
depends on what model it is. The urbans had some issues with cracking, the pure and team are both excellent, i have heard of no problems with them, plus i ride a pure and it is one of the greatest bikes eer :D i really dont know about the older ones, the es3's had cracking problems i think but...
i ride trials, do some dirt jumping/freeriding, and some bmx here and there and i use sun ringle zu-zu pedals with osiris shoes, got them both from danscomp.com. great site very fast shipping great prices. This is the best shoe pedal combo i have ever used and ive tried many different combos...
the tank mod is a cheap trials bike, costs about $200 shipped, i have heard very few positive comments about them but if you are just starting it might not be a bad way to go. But you will need a new bike in less than one year if you do like trials.
Depends on the type of riding you do, if you plan to ride all urban stuff than something like a Norco evolve or a planet x zedbi work for you. The Norco is a larger fame than the PX. The koxx levelboss is a good choice if you plan to ride only trials, and they are nearly indestructible. Koxx...
its an 03, i still dont think the geo works well for trials, that being said i did ride it as a trials bike for 4 months while i was wating on some parts for my trials bike and i did get more accurate with moves and much stonger too. You dont have to have a true trials bike to ride but it makes...
i have a p2 also and it is the worst "trials" bike i have ever ridden, its great for dirt jups or urban but suks for tirals, way to heavy, poor geo, low bb, etc. if you are serious about trials get a zoo! or echo. They are much less expensive than the fancy french frames and work just as well...
ok i just read your entire post and i would say you should get some thinner grips, they help you fell the bars better and give better control IMO, alos stick with the thing gloves, the do kinda destroy your hands at first but in the long run it is worth it. The thin golves allow better feel for...
